Le Restaurant Akwaba (qui signifie Bienvenue) est situé dans le quartier de Rosemont-Petite Patrie à Montréal.

Akwaba vous propose un voyage culinaire alliant les douceurs africaines et grecques avec une touche de modernité et d’originalité dans un cadre agréable, chaleureux et convivial.

Au restaurant Akwaba, nous vous proposons des plats traditionnels africains: tels que le Kédjénou (poulet cuit à l’étouffé), le ragoût d'igname, le Couscous, le Tiep bou dienne, sans oublier l’incontournable Alloko (plantains frits) et plus encore..., des plats traditionnels grecs tels que la Moussaka, le Pastsio etc.et des plats issus de la fusion des deux.

En effet, le Chef et propriétaire a une très grande connaissance de la cuisine africaine et grecque. Anciennement, Chef et propriétaire de restaurant en Grèce, il a côtoyé plusieurs grands Chefs africains et grecs et a une excellente maîtrise de ces deux types de cuisine.

This restaurant’s food is absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was really good and the staff is very nice, professional and helpful. Hardly accessible by foot but still doable and worthy :

Huge portions and the sweet and sour chicken was really good.

I ordered a Yassa poulet Senegal and I really liked it. The chicken is super tender. I had a meeting so I went a bit late but the owner had the niceness of keeping it warm for me. Great customer service!

Great place to eat it takes a bit longer to make but it's worth the wait and a bit pricey

Had the jollof rice with lamb, and I must say it was delicious! It was out of this world and I’ll definitely be going back

Went to another African restaurant that I would not namedyesterday,  food was not ok at all.Then I was recommended to go to Akwaba fine cuisine; that was a great choice; the homemade drinks , the food , everything was well made and very tasty.  I definitely recommend. This is what I called a cuisine.
