My husband had the chicken dinner , I had fish and chips. We split short rib tacos for our apps . All the dishes were delicious. Great atmosphere with the horse racing. Friendly waitress. We will be back!
We dine there once or twice a year. Good food and fun atmosphere. Servers are good but not sure whey they are wearing Yoga pants and sports shoes at a nice restaurant? Parking: A lot of parking spots and free.
1 star was because 0 wasn't a option. Food was cold over priced and not good. I never write reviews. I do not think they get return customers as the place was half full on a big racing Saturday. Hopefully this post will save you from the first visit. All of our party's food was not good.
Edit : went a second time and had a much better experience . Had a lovely server called Olivia and the food was much better . i had the mushroom flatbread and my husband had the ribs . we had so much fun sitting at a window seat making bets while having our dinner and the boozy blueberry tea was delicious . Apart from Olivia who was lovely i would also like to thank Juliano for all his help. Servers were lovely and it was so much fun being able to eat and have a drink while watching the races. The food was horrible Fish and chips = chips good but the fish was tough and strong tasting and not in a good way Chicken and chips = chips and veggies were good but the chicken had a weird texture and taste to it . I would go again, only because overall it’s a fun night , but only for a plate of fries and a beer or one of the flat breads.
Thought i would give this place a try, i called to order some food for take out and i was told there is no take out yet website says there is take out also the questions for this review asked if i dined in or takeout, there is no takeout....too bad if the food was good we defenitly would have been regulars
This place is amazing. Great view of the race track and TVs everywhere to watch the races. We had 8 people and the food came out super fast and was delicious. I had the Caesar salad and chicken flatbread. Next time gonna try the ribs. Staff was awesome. Great experience
I have found the meals to be consistently good. Kudos to the kitchen. Servers/hosts, on the other hand, seem to be one extreme or the other - either outstanding or terrible. Luckily, most fall into the first category, but if you get one of the others, it can spoil your evening. Reading some of the other reviews confirms that I am not alone in experiencing this.
I visited the place with my family we were very excited to go after a long time not visiting because of covid. A side from very low mannered server. We ordered our appetizer and we were ready to order our dinner at 9:07. The server said it’s not possible because the kitchen was closed at 9:00. 1- servers always ask for last call before they close the kitchen. Not entirely ignore the guest if they got too engaged to order for 7 minutes 2- we requested to meet the manager after waiting 30 minutes to discuss this with her she was LOUD, RUDE, VERY disrespectful. And she said she will check with kitchen and we asked if she will take another 30 minutes to get back and she said maybe. Did not apologize Very loud Did not listen She even made us sound like we are lying and we have no intentions to do non of that because we went to enjoy a good day out. I have never ever in my life came across such rude and disrespectful personality. NEVER GOING AGAIN- Horrible
Steak dinner was great, good mix of vegetables. Lobster cakes were delicious. Excellent customer service from Sarah and Shelly. Nice to have a night out at the races. Tables were well spaced out so we felt very safe.
An believable dining experience! You would never expect a 5 star gourmet meal from a race track! Congratulations and kudos to the chef here. We have dined in many 5 star restaurants and this is near the top of the list, no exception. Thanks to our server Ian for making it top notch! Well done, keep up the amazing job, and we will be back, and we will bring our friends!
