We were looking for a reading chair and showed up without an appointment to look at one I found on the website. We didn’t buy that one, but found another that we took home with us. I recovered the cushion in leather and ended up with exactly what we wanted. Very happy with the quality of the item, and the integrity of the owner. Hence a five star rating. We will be return customers.
I was looking for a set of 6 teak MCM chairs, I had looked around at a few places around Calgary, and just couldn't find what I was looking for in the condition I was looking for. Our Designer Michelle, @studioyyc_interiors recommended we go check out Justin at Kollection. And I am so happy I did! Justin's communication over instagram, and in person was direct, prompt. He guided me through the process on deciding how to best finish off the chairs, as he and his team fully refinished them. Very Quick turn around time, and Justin was even kind enough to deliver the chairs right to our house. Feeling very Happy with our chairs! The original upholstery was left on the chairs as seen in the pictures, but will be getting the upholstery done at a later date. Thank you Justin! We will definitely be back for pieces in the future!
The collection Justin has is incredible. The pieces are beautifully restored and incredibly well priced! Justin is passionate about his work and was so generous and kind to me. He has given me tips on where else to shop cheap to decorate my apartment and is genuine in the way he runs his business and cares for his furniture. He hand selects everything himself and does all the restorations! I highly recommend going to Kollektion for anything Mid Century Modern!
I highly recommend Kollektion! My experience with Justin is always very positive and the level of service is A++. I've purchased a handful of amazing pieces from him and appreciate the fair pricing and knowledge that he brings with every item he curates in his shop. Recently, I had a refinishing job done on my vintage Arne Vodder lounge chair, and I am extremely satisfied with the end result and speedy turnaround! I would 100% recommend for your refinishing needs as well.
I’ve had a great experience at Kollektion. I was looking for a dresser for quite a while and the one I found at Kollektion was beautiful quality for a reasonable price. Justin was also super helpful and flexible around pick up times. I will definitely be back!
Justin did a great job repairing a broken marble/brass side table that's been in my family forever. I'll definitely be using this company again for future furniture repairs!
My experience at Kollektion was stellar. Justin was so generous with his knowledge and his time, and he was accommodating and fair with pricing. He was completely transparent about any flaws in the pieces i was considering. I purchased a sweet little hall cabinet. Justin made sure that the fittings for the attached mirror were solid, and that I understood how to reattach the mirror once I was home. I just can't say enough about how reassuring it has been to encounter an individual and a business with the kind of integrity that Justin displayed. Can't wait to return when I find the perfect dining room table!
Kollektion has an amazing collection of MCM furniture that is well restored. If you are looking for unique MCM pieces don't waste your time and visit Kollektion.
Amazing service and gorgeous furniture! Finding an armchair or sofa that fits takes a fair bit of time, and when you are interested in vintage pieces, it is even more challenging. Justin was patient and knowledgeable, providing me the time to decide on our new sofa. Thank you for a great shopping experience. I look forward to getting more unique pieces in the future.
We recently bought a curio cabinet from Justin and really love it. You can tell he cares for each piece before listing them. His shop is full of great curated items and it was incredibly easy to book a time to visit the shop on his website. We’ll definitely buy here again.
