Saturday night. We were a party of 4 people, celebrating my birthday. We were seated close to the window. My wife ordered their specialty sushi and it was beautifully plated and delicious. I especially like the renkodai fish they served in it. So fresh. Our server suggested the calamari and it was crispy, and tasty. The restaurant was packed but the service was still pretty fast. So far, I have to say that Miso is one my top sushi restaurant in Montreal.

I'm not a particular fan of Asian food in general but this place is amazing. We order many sushi dishes to share and everything was so fresh. The salmon tartar and the new style sashimi were amazing.

2 stars - not because it's worse than McD's but as an honest assessment relative to other similar places. Very nice atmosphere but very disappointing food and a bit overpriced. Ultimately, none of our dishes were noteworthy and the exceptionally slow service didn't help. On an earlier visit, the sushi options were a safer choice and generally quite good. With so many better options in the neighbourhood, it's hard to recommend eating here.

Food was very tasty and the fusion of flavours was nice. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Unpretentious but nice restaurant.

What an amazing place. Great staff. Some of the finest quality fish in the city for sure.
