I absolutely loved this place! I went for a sunrise hike with a few friends and brought bear spray just in case we had ran into any, since we had heard that they are very common. We had hiked the high knoll trail first, and then went down to the lake, and wow, the reflection was breathtaking! Also saw tons of wildlife! Will definitely be coming back in the future!
Beautiful park with plenty of amazing views. The scenery here is jaw dropping. It was my first time here today, but will become a regular visit. Excited to explore the trails! Saw a few bears, they minded their own business but I'd still suggest bear spray just in case.
Lovely park with great view of the lake and the wood. There is a free parking and a sign that worn that many recent cars break ins. After few minutes walk there are picnic tables for visitors near a ramp to a nice viewpoint. Highly recommended. Restrooms: There are washrooms at the beginning of the trail Picnic area: There is picnic tables in the place
Beautiful trail. Great for sunset. Be advised that there are parts of the trail that have difficult footing and rocky stairs with steep incline. Please take out your trash to ensure this park stays as beautiful as it was today. Feb 2022.
Great place for a family walk. All levels of excitement from flats around the ponds to rugged terrain leading to great views of surrounding areas. Be bear aware and keep to the trails.
Free parking lot. Peaceful natural marshland surrounded by forested landscape. There's muti-loop trails. Trails vary from easy flat, to challenging rooted rocky inclines. There's scenic higher lookout points. This area is known to have bears. This was the case on the day I visited in June.
Totally worth the hike. You might get to see a bear but as long as you follow the signs and try not to feed them you'll be safe. Apart from that about 2km of hike and totally worth it. MUST VISIT ATLEAST ONCE.
This is a must do Hike!! It is absolutely stunning and beautiful to walk these trails and see mother nature at her finest! Bring your camera The top of the Knoll is breathe taking!! Keep your eyes out for the wildlife. Bears, owls, birds, frogs, and small snakes etc. There are washrooms and garbage and recycling at the beginning of the trail. Great for the whole family including dogs! Restrooms: Clean restrooms at the start of the trail near the parking area. Dog-friendliness: Absolutely dog friendly! Great hike for the dogs too.
Absolutely beautiful, especially in the Spring with green colors and in the Fall with orange. Notice that we saw a bear in the afternoon at the parking lot on May 8th but it didn't eat us :
Such a beautiful and tranquil place that is usually less crowded. Highly recommended for a hike.
