This place is amazing for nature lover. 5.6 km return trekking till water fall but it’s really worth it. ‍ Somebody put 2-3 signage for private property to not enter, may be to avoid crowd. However this is not a private property & all can go as there is no any single home up-to entire trekking to fall. So don’t worry go ahead. Walk way is clear & immense pleasure of tour for forest & river. Adorable spot for one day picnic. Bring water & handy snack with u. We all really enjoyed a lot with awesome clicks of memories.
About 40- 60mins flat trail.. Good for kids and dog to walk but be careful in small gravel that you can be trip off. in the end you will see a falls with lots of rock. We parked in the side street and it can be packed over the sunny day weekends.
This is a nice modest “hike” or more so a scenic walk. It’s great to bring your dog if you have one but keep them on leash as some of the paths are quite narrow leaving you very close to other people and their pets. At the end of the hike you come up to the falls which is cool and refreshing and is best to view in fall and winter. Summer time there isn’t much water flowing.
The trail a little rough but easy. The trail start on Karley is no trespassing but people do it anyways. Nice little falls
A good hike if your willing to go through or find some way around the mud and water breaks along the pathway. The scenery is honestly very nice, as the trees and rivers compliment each other, making the hike up more enjoyable. However, as stated before, random parts of the trail become a bit of a challenge to navigate as some parts are just mud, which will ruin shoes if they aren't for hiking, and complete streams or pools of water, only having rocks or large tree branches to act as a way across. Overall, the experience was ok, the waterfall was somewhat worth the trek. The entire way from the start to the waterfall might take somewhere between 30/ 50 mins to an hour depending how you tackle this hike.
One of our favourite local hikes, close to home and great for the family. We have been going for years and haven't been at all this summer until this evening because it has been so incredibly busy this year. It was reasonable for a weekday, late afternoon. The trail wasn't crowded and the weather was warm but you are under cover of the trees most of the trail. A dip in the river along the way or in the river pools at the top right of the falls is especially refreshing, but do stay away from climbing the actual falls, as there have been a few rescues over the years of people who chose to climb the slippery waterfalls and fell. We usuly leave a few hours to hike, explore and swim. Round trip is about 7km.
This is definitely more walk and less hike, but it was still a really nice way to spend a couple of hours outdoors! This time of year early January it was VERY wet and muddy so make sure to have appropriate footwear, but it was still really fun. To be honest I’m not sure if we made it to the falls... we saw a small waterfall before turning back!
Great small hike right in your own backyard. Park at the north side of David to start your walk. Depending on your pace it should take 25-35 minutes to get to the falls. There is a small trail to get you to the top of the falls also. Trail can be busy on the weekend so best to go early if you want less traffic. Great place to bring your dog with lots of water for them to drink. Enjoy!
Short and easy hike.... We went on a sunny Sunday afternoon... Was a bit crowded but still nice afternoon walk. Parking was not easy but possibe. We did the new trail so it was easier to find parking. It's just one street up from the original trail.
Nice hike up to the waterfall. The entrance is located in a residential area, so there’s limited parking. On street parking is also located on the adjacent street. Best to have hiking shoes especially when it rains. Some parts of the trail are tight, but most people being aware of Covid, are kind enough to control the walking traffic. They stop or I stop to let them pass.
