A nice Japanese restaurant. Good food and good service. During the pandemic period in the past 2.5 years, we only ordered take out from them. So happy to enjoy a sit in dinner in a booth with family. Another visit, add more photos. Nice wine and good food. Like their booth seats.
Great sushi restaurant in Aurora! We go often and it never disappoints. This last time, we were hosting a party and decided to do a tray of sushi. We took our tray and they set it all up on the tray so so beautifully. We were so pleased. Thank you so much!!!!!
~Minami- Our favourite sushi place had recently gone out of business, so we found our new favourite! Minami sushi is a well lit, super welcoming sushi restaurant that we had heard of and wanted to try! We had the spicy scallop roll, spicy salmon roll and the amazing Spider rollmy fave The booths are cutely tucked in, almost like in a romantic way, perfect for introverts like ourselves. Very flavourful, and delectable sushi!
The sushi rolls we got were tasty and the fish was fresh. Quick and friendly service. However, it was quite cold in the dining area because of the door being opened so frequently.
The quality overall was great. It was fresh and well rolled. I wasn’t a big fan of the combination of ingredients used in the signature role personal preference. Overall I would give it 4.5
I order a chirashi bowl for lunch. The appearance is very appealing. The sashimi is very fresh. Thanks very much for the delightful meal.
Restaurant was clean and nicely private, and food was exceptional quality and beyond fresh! Sashimi are very thick and mouthful with fresh taste. Tempura basket has variety of choices and very crummy with sweet and nutty taste. It seems perfect to me. Sushi boat has full of choices for us to happily pick every time different sushi and sashimi on the boat. Besides their fresh food, I want to emphasize their strong wasabi taste. I personally put lots of wasabi into soy sauce like 1:2 and taste of wasabi matters to me when I dip sushi and sashimi. Their Wasabi was one of the Best I have ever had!! Hopefully, people recognize and understand what I'm referring. Anyway it was very enjoyable and memorable visit with good friends. I strongly recommend this place. If you never visited, you are missing out big time!!! LOL
My current favourite place for sushi. The rolls are so good, we never need the soy sauce. Adding their most current menu. We order from here often
Maybe it was just our experience today...because the reviews here are great but the avocado in all the rolls we had were hard unripe and we had to take them out. Also every roll was just a tad bit too sweet. We got roll platter b.
We had been trying to find our new favourite sushi location since our regular one closed during Covid. We have been here a few times, and will return! They have a nice selection of vegetarian sushi. I'm grateful for their affordable combo options.
