Mimico

I was shocked to discover that this station is not wheelchair accessible. Having to carry a stroller and a baby up and down two flights of stairs was not easy.nWhat makes less sense is that they have the platform painted to mark the accessibility cart.

Growing up in Mimico my whole life, I have seen this go station for the better part of 30 years. When I say it is the exact same as 20-30 years ago, I'm not kidding in the slightest.nnThe population growth in this end of the city has now far exceeded what this go station is capable of handling on a daily basis. Everyday you get off the train here it is a line up, body to body, just to get down the stairs. I feel bad for all the people I see having to haul strollers around, couldn't imagine if you had a wheelchair.nnEveryone needs to step up and actually give this go station the proper renovation it has been due for 20 years. Stop making deals with private developers that keep going bankrupt with their condo developments. It's time for Metrolinx to get this station up to at least current millennial standards.

I was surprised to see that MIMICO GO STATION is not accessible for people with disabilities. I only realize this now that I am a new mother and couldn’t find a ramp/ elevator to carry my baby and stroller in and out of the train tracks.nam surprised to see that Metrolinx, as the public sector entity that it is, has remained indifferent to this situation.Forget mothers with strollers, I was able to pickup my stroller up&down the stairs, but what about those with mobility issues!!!! This is extremely unfair and AODA should impose an obligation on Metrolinx to provide accessible infrastructure for people with disabilities.

Most of the complaints on here are valid, but people need to keep in context this isn't a suburban station e.g. clarkson and it is not intended to have the same commuter volume.

Place sucks balls. Not accessible and terrible parking situation. Just pathetic. Plus, entire tunnel smells like feces
