Guildwood

It was nice when it was new, but maintenance isn’t in Guildwood’s vocabulary. It’s getting pretty grimy inside and out, including the washrooms.

Modern, well-maintained, and even gets Via Rail. This station has a lot of things going for it and is usually delivers. It has plenty of next train screens and has elevators and ramps for accessibility. The walk to the bus stop is fairly short and train service is 30 minutes in both directions.

One of the cleanest and well-maintained GO station in the GTA! Coming here is more than just commuting to work. Mornings and Evenings is when this station shines really bright

Bathrooms are dirty and theres no Wifi. Cant send important texts, catch up on work or order Uber’s late at night…

I recently traveled from Guildwood Station to Ottawa on VIA Rail and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. The station offers plenty of free parking, which is a major convenience. It's spacious, modern, and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to begin your journey.nnOne thing to note is that there’s no dedicated VIA Rail customer service on-site—train information is displayed only on a screen in the main waiting area. For first-time travelers, more visible VIA signage and clearer platform markings would definitely help streamline the boarding process.nnThat said, it was still a very pleasant and hassle-free experience. I highly recommend Guildwood Station for those living in the east end of the GTA who want to avoid the traffic and parking fees associated with Union Station downtown.
