Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity ReStore

Friendly staff, decently priced. I think this is a great place, and i believe in what they do. I think they truly make a difference in people's lives.

Think of this as Goodwill/Salvation army for house and handyman materials. Everything from lumber to furniture, flooring to fixtures and lots of other stuff like home decor. I compare to the other places because you can donate excess stuff and it will be resold with proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity. Those donations are tax deductable. Check out their multiple locations around Milwaukee. I think there are 4-6 spread around.

The inventory is unpredictable but the value is very high on many items. In particular the doors and windows are incredible values though not sorted very well. If you are flexible on sizes, then there are many bargains.

You have to go there 2 times a week and you will find great deals

Over priced items.. People Donated these items to be sold at a fair price. Regularly sells the more desirable items to insiders at a reduced price.
