Selected this place for an early dinner after a great hike at Stairway Lake. The service is fantastic with one person dedicated to getting your drinks and clearing dishes. Nice portions. The stuffed crab is 90% filler, thus the 4 star rating. Plenty of parking at 4pm.
I had the liver and onions with bacon was perfectly cooked to perfection. Had a nice salad which was lovely. Be sure to check out the specials when you first walk in cuz that's where they're listed at. There is no listing inside. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area. Parking: Good ample parking area even while pulling a 20 ft trailer Wheelchair accessibility: I use a power chair and it was very easy to access the diner and easy to navigate inside
O email of the best steak and eggs I have had in years. Great food, great service and a lot of parking . They were not shy 0n the strawberries for the French toast!!! All wa yummy. My only observation is that if they were to have maple syrup available...oh well that would make a lot of people happy!!
The most hospitable service, very friendly and I gotta say NY has alot to learn about cheese steaks and french dips. I also noticed, out of the corner of my eye, as they were walking up to the table to ask how our food was and saw us with our mouths full they walked on so we could eat!! Awesome diner, little things go a long way ;
This was my second time eating here, overall my experience was great. As soon as I came in someone greeted me, and led me to a table. The waiter came over quickly to ask if I wanted coffee and or something to drink. The food didn’t take long to be prepared, I was able to switch home fries to French fries last minute without any issues. I would give the Milford Dinner 5/5 stars. Great place to eat, sit and chat. Parking: At the time that I went parking was available.
Very crowded for 11am-1230pm Sunday breakfast/lunch crowd. Got seated for a table of 7 fairly quickly, but the wait time to make the actual order was about 30min. Inexperienced drink order waitress got the order mixed up, but it all worked out since everyone ordered similar drinks. More seasoned waitress who took our main orders got everything right and the food was fresh, good, and filling. Had leftovers for another meal. Keystone Omelette for my husband had a few small pieces of eggshell in it so he had to chew extra well. Home fries were tasty, not too oily, not burnt. Turkey club was stacked and fresh with a side of crunchy fries. Blueberry pancakes came in a pile of 3, were large about 8" across, and had a good amount real blueberries. Had some leftover to eat as a snack for later. Chicken caesar wrap was fresh and just the right size to satisfy that morning hunger. French Onion soup was delicious although small and topped with a slice of white cheese. Taquitos that my nephew-in-law chose were slightly soggy by the time they reached our table so his order might've been sitting for a bit before getting to us. Restaurant was really bustling by lunchtime and we finished our food at a convenient time to escape the larger lunchtime crowd. No opinion of the bathroom since me and my husband did not use it. Parking is limited 10 spots? so not ideal for a large SUV or for drivers not used to narrow spaces. Sidenote: Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was the very slow service in the beginning. New customers' orders were taken before ours and we were ready to order before our 7th guest arrived. Perhaps this place will be better on the next visit ‍
Milford Dinner is one of those classic tastes of old world Americana. Coffee is always hot, food is always plentiful, and the staff always has a smile. Either you're just passing by, or a regular, Milford Dinner is always a welcoming place to stop by. The food is as you expect it for this kind of establishment. Big plates of comfort food, just like home made. The staff is always attentive even as the sun sets.
the dishes are huge and overall the food is decent the service is very slow
Although I've been going to this diner for many years I haven't really had many different dishes. Cheeseburger is good as are fries. Pretty typical diner stuff. Also get breakfast alot. Very good and always cooked as requested. Did not like the chicken pot pie. Very dry. All in all a good diner. Wheelchair accessibility: It's handicapped accessible.
A welcoming environment with the classic diner feel. I came in for lunch on a busy Wednesday. I had the steak and eggs both cooked to perfection. As a local I often enjoy breakfast or lunch at the diner. The staff is welcoming and you can tell are always enjoying there jobs. Absolutely recommend!
