Story

Mile Zero Dance would like to acknowledge that
Spazio Performativo is on treaty 6 land, the traditional territories of the Cree, Blackfoot, Metis, and Nakoda people and we who inhabit this place are all treaty people. http://www.treatysix.org/

Mile Zero Dance is a fast-paced, broad-minded company that thrives on integrating contemporary and experimental dance into modern culture. We work collaboratively with many of Edmonton’s best artists, and our work edges on multidisciplinary as we find innovative ways of expressing ourselves through the body. Explore our Salon Series, Mainstage shows, and Site Specific Events as we investigate the meaning of dance in today’s society.

Mission

Our vision is to create and foster original, innovative and diverse dance and performance works in the Alberta arts scene, and to increase our profile nationally and internationally.
