Took a chance with these guys, just moved to the city, full on pandemic, needed my alternator replaced... Very helpful, explained any questions I had, front office and mechanics. Prices, fair and transparent, nothing just thrown in. Didn't want to give 5 stars right away, but after the same experience last week fixing up my starter, they deserve nothing less. Always build up trust with your own mechanic/shop, but this is a good place to start!
So impressed by this place! Called on a Saturday with an issue and they dropped everything to have a look at my car. They were extremely professional and trustworthy. I was prepared to spend a small fortune on repairing my car but they were able to solve my problem quickly and without talking me into other repairs as other shops have done to me in the past. I’m new to the city and will continue to go here and recommend this shop to friends.Service: Auto battery replacement
Excellent service & advice - the reputation here is outstanding, and for good reason. Mufflers and brake parts guaranteed for life, so pay extra and you're covered! However, based on city traffic, leave an hour in advance to ensure early enough vehicle drop off.
I owned a 2005 Civic and it broke down right in front of mighty auto. Once I got the car into the driveway I asked the staff to review it and let me know what the problem was. They came back to me and explained that its worthless and offered to call and have it go to the junk yard. Knowing very little about car they told me a bunch of terms and explained it was cost a fortune to fix. So sadly I took their word for. 1 month later I get a call from a woman with my civic asking for my information because she bought the car from Mighty Auto. Luckily the car was registered under my business so they rightfully couldn't sell it. They took my car and sold it to a woman for $1000. Basically they stole my car.... believe it or not. So Might Auto is not to be trusted! They will scam you if they get the chance. Worst Car repair shop in Halifax Nova Scotia.Service: General repairs & maintenance
if I could rate this garage zero out of five stars I would. I recently brought my ford pick up here to have a coolant leak diagnosed and ultimately fixed. After making an appointment well over two weeks in advance I dropped off my vehicle with the exceptions of having it fixed, what they ended up doing was phoning me throughout the day to tell me that "they've had 25 pounds of pressure on the coolant system and couldn't find any leaks" they also asked me why I thought it was leaking coolant which I replied by saying well if you look under the truck you'll more than likely find a puddle and that I had been filling the coolant tank multiple times a week as it had all been leaking out of somewhere. the mechanic on the phone Jim told me that he put some dye in the coolant and that he'd revisit the problem a couple days later. upon my arrival to pick up the truck I was quick to realize that it hadnt even been moved from where I parked it. so I headed inside to grab the keys, once I got my keys I went over and started the truck and popped the hood than to my surprise I could clearly see where the coolant had been leaking from and that anyone with two eyes could easily see it. being a little disappointed with the lack of effort that had been put into fixing my truck I asked to speak with the mechanic Jim and was told that he was too busy to even come look at where the coolant was very clearly leaking from. this is my second time dealing with this garage with the outcome of it being more than disappointing. if you want quality work at a fair price done from mechanics that actually put an effort into there job Id recommend going over to Graigs garage. 10/10 would not recommend bringing your vehicle hereService: General repairs & maintenance

I went to get a power steering leak resolved. They did not check the steering wrack. Standard practice I'm told . As a result there was a leak in the return line to the power steering pump. That got repaired. . I left and first stop noticed it was still leaking. Took it back told sorry it's your wrack leaking that's about $1000. They just charged me $275 to fix the return line. No offer to return the $275 even though they did not check the wrack Again standard practice I am told when dealing power steering leaks. My rating would have to 0
Carefully investigated, customer shown areas of concern. Fair replacement costs, complete and like a new vehicle. Kudos to Joe for his explanation and top notch service.
They charged me 15$ extra for each tires. The only reason why i put their tires was because of MVI. Got call from them and said they won’t put sticker on it if I don’t buy tires from them. Zero for customer service, lady who work at reception was so much rude and wont let me see the charges before I pay.Services: Vehicle safety inspection
Unfortunately Mighty couldn't get my old Z4 on the lift to perform and alignment because its stock ride height is low. I wish they caught that it was a sportier car when I booked over the phone or when I dropped it off. I could have avoided the $35 cab rides 2x15min. They apologized and I'm glad they didn't get adventurous with the ramp angles. Last time I had a puncture I called Mighty, they instantly told me they couldn't help me because my tires are too wide 295. Depends on who is at the front desk I guess.Service: Steering & suspension repair
