I was staying in Antigonish for work a few months ago, and had some car trouble. This place came highly recommended, and I was not disappointed! They kept me updated on the status of my vehicle, and took care of the issue fast! Great group of people here, thanks Midnite Auto!
Travis was great to deal with from the first time we popped in to see what he had on the lot to answering all our questions. He made sure we got into the right vehicle for our family. They made sure our new car left the lot with new winter tires and a full safety inspection from Dan and the mechanic shop on site. Will definitely be back for all maintenance and any future vehicles.
Had Dan at Midnite do my safety inspection.Needed a drain plug replacement and a new serpentine belt.He also noticed my seatbelt was all twisted so he worked his magic and now it retracts perfectly. Taking the car to Midnite is like leaving it with family. They are a local business that support other local businesses and are Nova Scotia Strong !
Spoke to folks here to help do a car check up to advise on if it a "go or no go". Barrett was flexible, even without my presence, did the check and gave a breakdown on the phone as well... Amazing crew on this shop

Pleasant people to deal with. I bought a used car from them. HOWEVER: The car needed two wheel bearings and front brakes replaced about 7500KM after purchase; they said "hope you purchased an extended warranty". I don't think the brakes should have passed the safety check at purchase if they were that bad. I got an estimate from them for the work needed, which included 4Hours of labor. The actual job took 2.5Hours but they still charged me the estimated 4Hours labor; they said "that's industry standard practice". I don't intend to make it my standard practice to pay people for work they do not do. So, I will look for another garage to deal with.Services: General repairs & maintenance
Took my car for an oil change and winter tire install at 9am,had my own tires.i waited about 1.5hours and was charged $180 to which i didn't have much of a complaint....got in my car to leave,having previous perfect brakes and had no brakes.i couldnt leave the parking lot so owner Dan Macinnis said it couldnt have been their fault and put my car back in shop for repair,11.15am.He said he didnt have no workers free to do the work today so he would work on it in his spare timequoted me $200 for the brake repair, not taking any responsibility while running his shopthat same day and he knew full well i lived over an hour drive away,he said one small brake line was broke and he insisted i should replace another small piece,so i agreed to the $200.His phone lines were busy that day and customers of plenty which he had no one to wait on except himself/ as my car stood for him to work on in his free time and i waited in vain.Finally the job was done,2.15pm which he took no responsibilty for and also charged me for 3hours labouri watched the whole time and he only worked about 1 hour of that time on my car.I was charged $270 for that repair.Never take my car back again.
I scheduled undercoating twice, but then It rained, so I cancelled because it is not recommend to drive in rain for 3 days. Now he doesn't want my business at all because it leaved an open spot in his scheduling, I can't control mother nature. His profits are more important than your vehicle, poor service.
