MidCountry Bank Branch & ATM

I've been banking here for years! I love this bank! Staff is very caring and they offer truly FEE FREE checking. That is unheard of these days!! Most banks have minimums, so many ACH incoming transfers to "qualify" for Wells and what the others call "free checking." 5 stars all the way! Keep up the good work!

The staff at MidCountry loan department is not professional and knowledgeable at all. They messed up my 1098 form. I spent more than a month, including more than 4 hours talking on their customer service line to educate and help them fix the error, which should NOT be the obligation of customers at all. As a scientist, I highly suspect the same systematic mistake have happened to many other customers too. If you used MidCountry for home mortgage, go check the box 1 of your 1098 form asap. If you are shopping for a home loan, stay away from MidCountry!

Went up and down Cahill shopping for banks. MidCountry was the fifth bank I had been too that day. They are the BEST in terms of fees and working with you in certain situations etc etc. I sat down with Laura and she was GREAT. Then I got to know Rachel a little bit. With these two excellent...customer focused employees, I decided to call MidCountry home and have not regretted it in Anyway. Great people, Good bank.... (don't know about other branches)

Had a large check to deposit yesterday, and wanted $40 back. The teller gave me the $40, but took $80 out of my deposit amount. Then, looking online to balance my books, and the teller must have DEBITED the deposit instead of CREDITING it.. so now my account has also gotten a $136 NSF charge on their mistake, and they still haven't shown that I deposited the check. Called my in-laws to tell them my sad tale, and they said a few weeks ago, their deposit ended up in their son's account. INCOMPETENT.
