Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Verona

Hotel is convenient location to the NYS Thruway and Turning Stone Casino. You can hear traffic from the Thruway but it is not too distracting. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and having a mini refrigerator and microwave is a nice added feature.

Nice room, was very clean even thpugh I used the pet room because we were transporting the cat. Enough parking and quiet area away from any towns. The ice cream place nearby was delicious.

The rooms are comfy, and there are several furnishings that I appreciated, such as refrigerator and microwave. They also provide a coffee maker and an ironing board. The network cable running out of the wall seems to be broken/disconnected in multiple rooms, so expect to only use Wi-Fi. The telephone in our room had a broken port on the handset, which meant it was disconnected from the cradle. The TV has a decent selection of free on-demand content. Our TV couldn't be turned on with the remote, but could be controlled and turned off with the remote. Our neighbor guests were slamming doors late at night, so I informed the staff at the front desk, and they waited in the hallway for it to happen again, which happened one more time, then stopped.

Got in at 3am and had to change my own sheets due to urine stains. Not only the sheets but the mattress as well. The gentleman offered to move us but that mattress was worse. When I spoke to management the next morning I was comped only half my charge for using a room for only 8 hours and then had to change the linens myself. I wanted to move the next morning and stay an extra night but they would not accept my coupon because they had an event. Even though they had rooms available. The manager stated she couldn't override the computer. Come on, reallly.

Room was too warm and the ac wouldn't stay on despite the temperature being set lower than the temperature in the room. The complimentary breakfast didn't have much, but what was there was good. The staff was friendly and helpful and overall the rooms were nice.
