Pretty much the worse as M$ technical support. I was looking for Razer Core v2 and I knew there will be a chance that they may not have it. Try to asked some staffs they had no idea what do they carry. One particular female staff looked me into my eyes and then walked away. Finally someone who told me that razer stuffs are showing at front and they don’t keep stuffs at the back. Right, if I am m$ retail manager, I would fire all staffs in there.
Oddly good. I'm use to the Apple Store and the "genius" bar rarely being able to fix things or even be knowledgeable. Went in today looking for a headset. Dude working there had tons of accurate info I had already done my research and made recommendations based on my uses. Also I was approached by at least three people when I walked into the store and as I was browsing around. No one was high pressure but they let me know they were available. It was a busy day but it's nice to know people are working
I went to buy a laptop and was wondering if spending money on windows device is good or not. I was guided by sanya very very well. She made all the quotations and even told me her practical side of getting what I wanted. She guided me and my friend really nice and also treated us really good. She gave a steal deal and so good price. I just loved being in the store and buying experience super awesome. Microsoft store rocks
Went in here knowing exactly what we wanted, so was an easy sale. The sales guy was a bit lower on his knowledge of the specs of the device, but good enough. I did appreciate that he mentioned that if the product went on sale within 30 days, we could bring in the receipt for a refund of the difference: way to look out dude.
I visited the store today with the intention of purchasing a laptop. We were finally greeted by Chris. I asked about a laptop with a CD drive and was informed that none of their laptops came with them and we should check out London Drugs for one. We had to ask if there was another option if the laptop didn't have a CD drive and then he told us about an external drive. He didn't seem to be in a hurry to help us purchase a laptop. He did show us some of the higher ticket items which were not what I wanted. We finally took a look at a Dell laptop and instead of trying to close the sale, he told us to take a look online as there was more selection. During the course of our final conversations, Chris seemed to have forgotten where my face and eyes were as he kept looking down at my chest. I am a 52 year old female and was not wearing anything revealing. I am appalled by his behavior and left the store not purchasing anything and feeling violated. I ended up heading over to Best Buy and received great service and purchased my laptop and accessories there. It seems Microsoft needs to retrain this particular employee.
I'm very disappointed with Microsoft's service and quality of product. I recently purchased a Surface Pro online. However, the shipping via FedEx was delayed and I no longer wanted to wait as I was a student and needed it for class. I went to buy the exact same thing in store and I was told when the one being shipped to me arrived I could simply bring it to store for refund. Two weeks ago I did that, and I was told its not possible to receive a refund that day, instead they would send a "request for refund". So I walked out of the store without the online purchased Surface Pro and without the near $1500 dollars it cost me. I was told it would take 3-5 business days. After 6 days I called and asked why I hadn't seen the refund yet. The associate took my number and had to look into it. I waited another day before he called and said there was a problem with the refund and it will take another 7 days!!! I'm a student, and that $1500 is sitting on my Visa. Had I known I would be sitting here 2 weeks later with them having both my money and the product, I would never have used their business. The associate said if the money isn't back in my account in 7 days, to call back. He didn't sound like he even had faith that this issue would soon be resolved. I think when a customer brings a product back for return completely unused in original packaging the customer should receive a refund right then and there. As for the product itself, the one I kept that I bought in store, I'm not that impressed. There's often cliches, freezes, things just not running that smoothly. The keyboard and tablet both have wear marks and minor scratches after 2 weeks of minimal use. I had a Apple Macbook Pro for 6 years and it still looks beautiful. My schooling is no longer compatible with Mac or else I would have stuck with it and never gone with Microsoft. I don't think Bill Gates would be that pleased, however I don't have his phone number and if i did I would be calling him for my $1500 right now and I'm sure he would have it to me in 3.2 seconds.
I wish I could share individual experiences here as I have had widely contrasting experiences. I will start out with my positive ones. Multiple times I have gone in and been greeted with professional people who have a strong working knowledge of their products as well as a desire to provide what I want and not to up sell their products. I usually walk away with what I needed and knowing it was a good choice. I would say 5 stars here. Two times in particular I have tried to find what I am looking for and an employee with little or no knowledge approaches me and will try to up sell a most expensive model of something, say a charger. I request one I know that has a lower wattage. In response I am told they don't have it. I go to the chargers find it and ask how much it is. The salesperson responds that it is the same price as the higher wattage one of $110. I push and ask him to price check. It is $65. I would be concerned by this because if someone did not know what they wanted they would inevitably have been pushed into spending considerably more than what they needed which in my opinion is not a quality desired in this store. Here is an example of an unknowledgable salesperson pushing a high price item for no reason at all. I would say 1 star here. Therefore I give this 3 stars as an average of these experiences.
Most horrible experience I have ever had with a gaming app. I Purchased Age of Empires and attempted to download it onto three separate computers. None worked. No one from the site would help me. They all said to look at what other people were saying about the failing app and do it myself. Installation was done but app would not open on any computer. All had a large amount of space. Very unhappy. Never buying anything from Microsoft again. Watch out if you are considering. Want a refund ASAP
Excellent service. I bought my note 10+. I booked an appointment, they received me on time. I felt valued and they offered me pop or water. I got a coke zero while they helped me with the transaction and the manager was so nice.
Went today as our Xbox one X wasn't working, Due to living almost 2 hours away and having an appointment the tech on the helpline gave us...We got to the store 2 hours early and were greeted very fast and our device was replaced without an issue and home pretty much at the same time our appointment was at. Was offered beverages 2x during our time at the storeWe declined both times. Would recommended going to this store for all your Microsoft needs.
