Will never go again and would suggest anyone who loves their watches not to go ... went to get my new watch resized it was still wrapped and he was handling it so carelessly and sliding it on the counter and when I said what are you doing you will scratch it he said ... no its crystal and steel and I pointed out that steel and crystal can also get scratched and he was like naahh! what a rude guy with no respect of other people's property ... So you can save a few bucks and get a scratched watch back or go elsewhere!

Been going here for many years. Honest quotations, quick work (repairs and resizing). Quirky selection. I was there last week to have a battery replaced on a Swiss watch that I didn't have an appropriate caseback wrench for: done in 3 minutes, and charged me less than the retail cost of the battery itself (they use Swiss Renata batteries for replacements). There are only 3 jewelers/horologists in the GTA I recommend, and Metropolitan is one of them (and it's closest to me).
