Their service is AMAZING. Always attentive to the customer, very , very clear, transparent and competent team. Always great to be able to speak to the head of the service team whenever you have any questions, concerns, not like other dealers where they hide and let their service consultants take all the heat when someone is wrong. A+++ ps: Not only do they service Mazda, they also can service and repair many other brands, including domestic.
I decided to make this review to emphasize how important it is when you buy a car not only to review the car maker/model but also equally if not MORE IMPORTANT review the dealer selling you the car and servicing it namely MAZDA GABRIEL PLATEAU just remember the name ! In a nutshell I purchased a 2021 CX30 Turbo GT in Sep 2021 and all was fine until Apr 2022 6 months later when I had a major bumping noise in the rear end when i brought it to the dealership and they examined it, they found a part in the Differential system caused the noise and needed replacement. At that time, Mr Aref service rep handled the case and as this part was back order 3 months he negotiated with Mazda Canada to agree to replace the whole differential system available in stock not to delay the client. The complete differential system was replaced and after a week time i had my car back and all was fine. 6 Months later, last October 2022 I had the same bumping noise again and rushed to the dealership. After inspection, it turned out the same problem occurred for the second time !!!! Needless to say I was in shock and furious. At the same time I spoke to the manager Mathieu and told him I do not trust this car anymore and need a solution. He told me he will handle the case with Mazda Canada as this is not acceptable. To make a long story short after several back and fourth negotiations with Mazda, Mathieu was able to take back my car and I got in replacement a brand new 2023 CX5 Turbo with all the options i had purchased in my former CX30 Turbo being snow tires anti rust and he managed to cover for my car rental all during these negotiations and up until the day i took delivery of the CX5 which was Mid December. I cannot say it enough, this gentleman who is the managing director did everything in his power to turn a frustrated and furious customer into a customer that is fully satisfied and stayed with Mazda. Thank you Mathieu you deserve all the credit !!!! Thank you MAZDA GABRIEL PLATEAU awesome dealer !!!!
My car needed to go in for some repairs of a part that was recalled. The service was amassing. They called me booked me in an appointment for when it was convenient for me not for them. Then drove me home and picked me back up when my car was ready. Did I mention that the car that I bought was a used car that needed some little things fixed. The service department did everything they could to make sure I was getting what I needed when it was very clear that they Didn’t need to. I would recommend this place 11/10. If you’re taking your car for service ask for Mourad. Never experience better customer service at a car dealership.
Very welcoming dealership. I pereonally recommend Soufian for any help with a vehicle purchase. The manger Matthew is great too he would make time to answer any concerns you have.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get the car that I want, but if you want an excellent service, Look for JUSTIN. He knows his stuff, respectful and very professional. He’ll give you the best service ever!
Bought my first car and the services was really great! Soufian and Matthew answered all my questions and were not pushy like most dealerships. Definitely go see them if you're looking for a car!
My list of complaints is so long I am not even sure where to begin. I got in an accident in the US and had to get towed back to Montreal - I made the mistake of dropping my car off with them before looking at the reviews. I understand my vehicle is not new and has a lot of milage, I just wanted to be able to get back into it as safely as possible. First they try to convince me that my insurance wont cover certain damages that they indeed did cover, then they get impatient and decide to contact my father who has sold me the car over 5 years ago and is completely uninvolved in the situation to tell him my insurance isnt covering the mechanical repairs, when in fact they are. I ask them not to contact him, they keep doing so. They broke a piece of plastic in my car and tried to gaslight me into thinking the piece was broken before. Overall unkind, disrespectful and condescending. If you are a woman I recommend going here with a man because you probably will get better service that way.
The service people are very nice. That's not the reason I'm giving them 1-star. I went in for an oil change, and an inspection recommended by them due to the "age of my vehicle". As a part of the inspection, they found a laundry list of issues. One of the items stood out as suspicious, since it was a part that was recently repaired at another dealership less than a year earlier. I took my vehicle back to the other dealership I use in Ottawa, got it re-inspected along with my 190k service. None of the work recommended by Mazda Gabriel Plateau needed to be done. Engine coolant tested fine, oil pressure switch was not leaking, brakes just needed to be lubed up not machined like was recommended here. Filter did need replacing, but that was done as a part of the routine service for <300$. Not the 1.7k$+ Mazda Gabriel Plateau wanted to charge me for all the work they recommended. So now I'm out of pocket for the cost of the inspection from Mazda Gabriel Plateau, which I don't think I can trust anymore. And I'm pretty sure I never needed in the first place. The oil change I got here was fine as far as I know. And I'm not going to go back.
I came for a routine check and was in a hurry. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and they made sure to help me save as much time as possible. The maintenance was great and I'm happy with the service!
I am originally from the US. I lost my Mazda CX-5 2021 Key Fob at the Biodome in Montreal on Saturday, July 2nd. This Mazda dealership was the nearest from the Biodome, I was at this location on Monday, July 4th morning to request if they could immediately make me a new key fob so I could leave for the US. Now comes Mourad Morseli into the picture - the director at this dealership and a gem of a person. He calmed us down and explained the next steps. They did not have a spare key fob at their location but he arranged one for us by asking one of his staff member to drive down to another Mazda dealership and pick one up. He had the keys reprogrammed for us within an hour and also gave a generous discount considering the situation we were in. Mourads humbleness and hospitality were admirable! If you are at this location with a problem do consider asking for him.
