I recently had a disappointing experience with Metro@ Northern Avenue. I ordered a cake four days in advance for a friend’s birthday, specifically requesting a birthday wish, ‘Happy Bday,’ to be written on it. They assured me this would be done. However, when I went to pick up the cake just before the party, I was informed they couldn’t write the message after all. This last-minute change was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient, especially since I had confirmed this detail earlier. This lack of communication and follow-through really impacted the celebration. Very disappointed with the service!

Although the staff was friendly and readily available when you managed to find one. They did not have enough cashiers. They only have three cashiers on. Those poor ladies and only one person to help the self-checkout and he was overwhelmed. It took me 45 minutes to leave the store after I was finished my shopping. Credit to the employees even though they were extremely overworked they were all still very friendly.

This location is now my favorite Metro in town. After experiencing the decline of a former favorite location in town, at least until this one possibly starts doing the same.

They never have blade steaks, i wonder if they are honest with their meat packaging and prices

Metro has all the items an average person could have on their grocery list, and at great prices too. Great store
