Menards

For the most part the same as usual, having shopped at Menards here in Rochester since 1993, but this store is right by my house. Only shop here for it's convenience, "definitely Not for customer service" I can only surmise it's because I don't sound like I am from this area, the (Midwest). I honestly don't like going to a store where ,We have spent ten's of thousands of dollars ,and they treat me this way. There are a (few) salesperson I've seen over the years that are very helpful, but the manager and other sales people would rather not help me( actions speak loudest over words.) Having worked at the clinic and with the public since moving here, (in 1992) I know what customer service is! And I do drive to find it.

Not totally satisfactory, plant items still quite high priced &/or looking rough. Fencing desk/area guy wasn't too thrilled to be "pressed" into doing the service of showing us where the white picket corner fence was located & then just walked away. Didn't offer to load them into the cart for two ladies. Good prices on solar lighting & choices, some good finds on sale end caps too.

i go to the south menards at least weekly. most of the staff are veterans and can be very helpful...only when you can find them! (esp. hardware and special orders outside) its a much busier store than its north counterpart and so maybe that also contributes to the not so uncommon problem of out of stock items & low inventory. i definitely feel that management could improve.

Great store for a do it yourself person. Love running it to contractors, and describing my projects. Staff is very understanding and helped a lot when I special ordered supplies.

Employees are very professional, helpful and approachable found everything I needed very quickly. Only complaint is that certain masterforce(menards brand) items are a bit pricy
