This is a pretty large Menards. A little out of the way for me to travel to but if you're in the southwest suburbs it should suit you well.nnThere were some really good priced box fans.nnI found what I was looking for even though there were many parts for me to dig through.nnThe parking lot is huge so there shouldn't be issues with that.nnThere was a bit of a line at checkout but then they opened a second register. That was appreciated.
Waited 20 min for an online order and no one came out to tell me what was going on. They didn’t have my full order so I had to come back over a week later. When I came the second time, same thing again. Waited 15 min, no one came out but could see people standing around. Came in and they said I had to call. I go to apple valley all the time and I never have to call, that’s why I scan in. How could they not see a car waiting and why is the wait so long… came in to get my order and it took 10 min to find it. Will not come here again.
I purchased a couch from here in June. The couch was wrapped in plastic, and I could only see what the color looked like. It was one piece, so I assumed that it was just one sofa. I decided to purchase it because I liked the color. I got one of their associates to help me. He took me to a computer and printed off a purchase receipt because I would have to come back to pick it up later once, I had a vehicle to haul it. I came back the next day to pick up the sofa. I ended up renting one of their pickup trucks to haul it. Once I got it home, my brother who was going to move into my house realized that there should be another piece. I went back to Menards and spoke with a manager who said they do not have the other piece and I could call Ashley to see if I can get it from them. This is supposed to be an L shaped sofa and will serve no purpose without the other piece. I have called Ashley, and they cannot get me another piece. I am out of over $300 and am not very happy at the moment. I will not buy furniture from here again. Menards should be ashamed of themselves because they should have known there should be 2 pieces and I should have been made aware of that. I would not have purchased this otherwise. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Like this Menards. One-level store, easier to finds items than some other stores. Employees very helpful locating items. Have bought carpeting, small appliances, electrical, and building supplies. Shop here even though not the closest Menards to my house.
