I recently ordered a $75 floral arrangement for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day, requesting a soft pink and white color palette, primarily featuring roses along with other complementary blooms. Unfortunately, the final product did not meet expectations. The arrangement consisted of only eight roses, with the majority of the bouquet approximately 60-70% composed of greenery, primarily ferns.nnGiven the price point, I anticipated a more balanced and thoughtfully designed arrangement. This experience was particularly disappointing, as I’ve found it increasingly difficult to locate a dependable floral provider in Medicine Hat. Regrettably, this order confirmed that CO-OP’s floral department is not the solution.nnI would not recommend placing a custom order here. If you choose to purchase flowers from this location, I suggest selecting from the pre-made arrangements in-store to ensure you receive the quality and aesthetic you’re looking for.nnFor reference, I have a photo of my own mother’s flowers from Rizzo’s for the exact same price point and these turned out fabulous!

Winter’s special delivery happened at Co-op 13th Avenue! Poinsettias, small pine , seasonal flowers for the celebration of another year heading towards ending. This store is well worth exploring.nn*****nFall dawned upon us, brought with red sunsets, yellow turning leaves, thanksgiving and Halloween upcoming. Fresh cut flowers, potted houseplants and arrangements are always ready, the flower corner run by Dawn and Glen is outstanding! Over weekends bundles of six long stem roses are $10.99, an irresistible find.nnPumpkin pies, frozen turkey, large variety of ice-cream and candies - Co-op is prepared for the rush, beware— no excuses for not getting any.nnCo-op store is always well stocked, has helpful workers on the floor and cashiers at checkout and self-serve, offering friendly support when needed.nnThe produce are reasonably priced, often on sale, the deli and bakery counters carry excellent varieties of cakes, salads and chicken pieces on the go.nnMy personal favourite the frozen Western Chili by Rose Creek. There store has a good selection of produce and meats. In the meat department you can rewuest special cuts and the bytcher will custom cut the meat you want. Most prices are competitive but you need to keep in mind the year end rebates.The instore bakery is handy and offers unique products.

Great staff willing to help with anything you need. The 4 star is because of the price of products here are generally more than Walmart/Superstore and they have much less variety.

All staff members are so helpful and friendly! Their customer service is excellent. Also, it is a fantastic place to find hidden gems from around the world. That includes a huge selection of retro & new soft drinks, candy, sauces, snacks, desserts, spices, etc. Just have a good look around, because you find these sections throughout the store. I also love how so many products are locally sourced, and that by shopping here, you contribute to the greater good in more than one way.
