Checked out this burger place over the weekend and one word review is yummilicious We tried The couch Potato and The black Jerk Chicken. Both were quite flavourful and delicious. Only thing was the price. Price is a lil too much considering the portion size and spending 3.99$ extra for black bun seems too much. Taste is good. Service is good too. Price is lil too high. .the crispy chicken is nice and the couch potato on normal bun are good too..
This place was neat! The black squid ink bun definitely got me through the doors. I enjoyed my meal. We also really liked sitting at the table to eat which I know is a bit odd to comment on, but as a tall person the table was a nice height for my elbows to rest while having a burger. My 6’3 partner also agreed and we talked about the height of the table for a few moments LOL
I give 3 stars because the first time I ate here it was amazing! No complaints what so ever. Definitely can't say the same the second time around though.. beyond disappointed. Patties were over cooked and burnt on the outside which made it very dry. And they only had half a slice of bacon, not even a full slice like cmon this isn't McDonald's... and one burger wasn't wrapped properly, burger was spilling out too. The flavors were very good and the truffle poutine is amazing I would like to add. But from reading past reviews it appears as though the management/owner doesn't care much about making things right with customers. Too bad! That's how you lose customers. I'll give it one more shot since Edmonton lacks in the burger department.
I tried the couch potato burger and absolutely loved it! Something unique that you wont find anywhere else. Thanks for the yummy meal.
I love Meat the Bun and have ordered here several times before. Was looking forward to this treat tonight but utterly disappointed. Lettuce wrapped burger came wrapped with two small wilted/rotten edges of lettuce and that’s almost $6 worth of sweet potato fries that are raw inside. Perhaps someone new working in the kitchen that needs some more training? Just unacceptable for the cost.
Everything was great. Two delicious burgers, nicely battered onion rings, and great fries that stayed crispy even in poutine gravy. Add in some friendly staff and definitely a place I'll come back to.
We wanted to try something new and this place did NOT disappoint! I had the chorizo burger and sweet potato fries. My husband had the brisket burger. Both were so yummy! Also, the owner chatted with us, found out it was my birthday and bought us a milkshake! 10 out of 10.
A good place to take a quick bite. Like their fires with seasoning. Burger is average, the pattt is not juicy. Indoor sitting is available. Service is good. Interior is clean.Food: 3/5
Meat the Bun surpassed all of my expectations with these quality ingredient burgers. Pictured below is The Queen featuring their signature Black Bun as well the Uptown Downtown burger, truffle poutine, and thick strawberry milkshake. The handcrafted burgers are so delicious that I can’t wait to try out their entire menu. The staff are super friendly and treat their customers really well. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Third time ordering from here, the food and service was fantastic. The online ordering system makes it easy, went and picked up. Everything which was ordered was perfect, had family over and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Always recommend one of there house sauces with fries. I ended up getting the Queen, and wow the truffle mushroom flavor was a punch in the mouth. It is pricey, but highly recommend trying it.
