I do love the blaze pizza, love that you can get what you want on a pizza, and really love that the pizza is cooked in a big fire oven. Love the dough that they make, when cooked with fire, it always makes the crust so perfect, crispy and has that satisfying chew. The staff are always really friendly and helpful as well! Vegetarian options: You can always choose toppings that are non-meat!

Read Full Review It was absolutely delightful being able to visit Blaze Pizza, the Manning Crossing location. For me, this location is the OG, one of the first ones in Edmonton and to this day they have been consistently upholding a high standard for all blaze pizza restaurants in Edmonton. So I went with build your own pizza and wow, it turned out incredible! The ovalini mozzarella is always perfectly melted, and the pizza perfectly cooked. Their regular tomato sauce, it’s savory, it’s got the right about of acidity! It just comes together so nicely with sea salt and oregano! They use very fresh ingredients. Such a Wonderful balance of flavors. Simply amazing! The restaurant itself is huge lots of spaces and plenty of seating so you can have a big group of friends come and just hang out and eat the delicious pizza. They have build your own pizzas, they have salad they have cheesy garlic, bread, garlic, knots, warm, fresh brownies and s’mores as well as a great assortment of drinks! The stuff is super friendly and the always ask. “Is it your first time here?”. They obviously want to make sure that you have a wonderful experience and the guide you every single of the way even though this concept has been here for a long time, they still make sure to accommodate everybody as best as they can. I highly recommend building your own because it’s so much fun and you absolutely get your moneys worth! Now here’s a pro tip if you are going to load your pizza up, get a high rice, pizza crust and get one of the biggest and most flavorful pizzas in your entire life. Waaaay better than Famoso. Blaze pizza actually has flavor! Regular crust is perfect thickness, crunchy and not floppy and sopping wet. The ovalini mozzarella is always perfectly melted, and the pizza perfectly cooked. Their regular tomato sauce has just the right about of acidity, and when adding their sea salt and oregano, it just comes together so nicely! Wonderful balances of flavors. I highly recommend their Red Vine Pizza, obviously lol.

Food was good, speed of service was good but was over billed on my pizza. Ordered an “off the shelf” meat eater pizza simply without onions and they billed it as a “build your own” to the tune of $2 more. They did indeed mark the sheet the pizza was on as a meat eater pizza and not something else. I’d like to think it was a mistake and not malicious. Or staff trying to rip people off but…
This place is awesome. The staff is very friendly, very clean there and the food is above awesome. Spend 12 bucks for a medium thin crust with as many toppings as you want. Such a decent deal. Everyone can have exactly the pizza they want. Thanks for finally being a place to give choice for a good price, not 3 bucks a topping.
Custom made pizza made right in front of you and baked in about 10 minutes. Lots of options and even if you want vegetarian although I don’t know why you would do that when you can put bacon or ham or pepperoni or whatever meat you want on your pizza. You can have a meatza. Since you make your own you should like what you get. Service is friendly and courteous and even some smiles. When it is baked in front of you that means you get it hot and that is great. Restaurant is clean and tables cleaned by staff fairly often. Will come back again.
Service was good, but servers were overwhelmed. Pizza was excellent, its no Capitol steak and pizza, pizza, but for thin crust it was great. Toppings were fresh and flavourful. Ordered online. But found out on arrival the way to go is build your pizza onsite. Epic.Food: 5/5
It's a great thing crust pizza place. Only downside is one pizza won't really fill you up if you're hungry in my case anyway. Kid-friendliness: Kids like it because they can build their own pizza
