McGillicafey's Pub and Eatery

Had a great lunch here with my friends. They have a wonderful selection and they also smoke their own meats. We ordered the burger, brisket and chicken sandwich, the portions were huge! 3 of us could have shared 2 dishes!

Great place to eat. Food and service are good. Menu has a good variety of items that will make your mouth water. My wife had the prime rib, and she said it was the best she had had in a restaurant. The poutine I had was great with lots of cheese. Will definitely be going back to try some of the other menu items. They even have a great selection of mocktails.

If you are hungry and want good quality food at decent prices this is the place to visit. Our first time in tonight and it was fantastic. We enjoyed our appetizers and mains. No room left for dessert, maybe next time.

The restaurant we usually go to wasn't open this year for some reason. A quick Google search for Thanksgiving dinner gave us McGillicaffey's Pub as our option.nI made a reservation to ensure we had a spot.nWhen we arrived, we were quickly & pleasantly greeted and seated.nThey had turkey dinner on special, meatloaf, and several other items.nWe had 4 turkey and one meatloaf.nThe meals were all beautifully presented and served piping hot.nThe food was delicious.nFor dessert, we had deep-fried cheesecake which was huge, candied apple crumble and pumpkin pie.nThe desserts were excellent and decadent. The candied apple crumble had actual candy caramel crackles, which was terrific.nnThe service was exceptional. Our waiter and host bartender/ server were amiable and pleasant. We had a great meal and great service.nnWhat a lovely find.nWhile we knew we wanted turkey, their menu looks so good we will return for some other options.nHastings is an adorable town worth exploring
