Dimitri’s Pizzeria and Restaurant

They have literally the best wings I had in my life! Wednesday night is their wing night, and you have to try the Cadillac ranch flavour! It's literally heaven when I eat them! It's so worth it! I go here basically once or twice a month, it's awesome!

The food was expensive, on the level of Tomasso's, but the portion sizes were absolutely enormous; I took my leftovers home and had two more dinners from it. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was good, I can imagine coming here with just the wife and enjoying it, but in my party we brought kids and some very loud people from across the country, crammed into the patio room away from the smaller parties. I'd go back again for a date night.

Ordered twice from here. The pizza was OK, my wife liked it more than me but it was decent. Ordered the panzerotti and the wife ordered the lasagna. She liked the lasagna but the panzerotti was vile. The outside tasted like a cheap chicken pot pie crust that was cooked with fish..the interior was just mushrooms and cheese on one half and the pepperoni and sauce on the other side. Honestly it tasted terrible...the worst panzerotti I ever had.

There aren't many options for Batawa residents in the pizza delivery department. I always give bonus points to Ma and pop shops that have a different type of pizza/crust/sauce than the big guys.nnIt took about an hour for the pizza to get here, but was ordered on what I'm assuming was a busy Saturday night, I knew what I was getting into by ordering during the dinner rush, don't lose any points for that, that's the way she goes sometimes!nnPizza was delicious! Right amount of cheese and sauce. The toppings were fresh and generous. The crust was good...lots of crunch and good for dipping in marinara which was provided. I also ordered wings which were huge! They had so much meat on the bones that they were maybe twice the size of a standard wing.nnBeing new to the area has lead to some fun local food research and Dimitris will definitely be added into the rotation, but we will probably pick up next time! :D

Great service. Lady was on the ball anticipating our needs before we asked. Everything was done in a timely manner. Could not finish all the french fries. Will be going again.
