Stopped for coffee. Left with coffee and food. Places very nice and cozy. The staff is amazing friendly and helpful. Would recommend anybody driving by just stop in and grab a coffee. I'll be going back again.

Great food and friendly service.  Some of the best coffee in the area.  Great for a quick snack, a quick drink or a full meal.   The pizza is excellent.

Here's a nice little place in Hastings, right at the Trent-Severn, for a good cup of coffee and a sandwich. I had a toasted western, full of smokey ham and onion - so good! 
They make pizza here from scratch also, and sweet cinnamon buns, and excellent butter tarts, altho they are not on the Butter Tart Trail. 
It's a casual place, very friendly, and the washroom is handicap accessible. Park off the bridge, there is no designated parking for the Bridgewater Cafe.
