It's an exceptionally clean McDonalds, the fries are always perfect. From a cleanliness and food perspective it is absolutely a top tier McDonald's. However, there is a low rumble that is REALLY annoying and I know it's super dumb but it could be stressful for some people. Vegetarian options: The fries are vegan and the McPlant is amazing, the vegetable dippers I'm less keen on but still aren't terrible. Parking: Quite a few spaces but often a queue to the drive through can block the parking entrance. Wheelchair accessibility: There is good wheelchair access, however, the electric door buttons do not work.
I chose a burger with some bacon and fries with a fresh orange juice. The burger was excellent with a bit of salad, too. I was served quickly without any difficulty. It was a busy venue where tables were cleared promptly and there was always somewhere to sit. Perhaps I'm getting less tolerant but some children treated the restaurant as a noisy play area, running around and shouting. It was a bit much for me! Otherwise a big tick from me!
The dislike is for the incredibly poor layout of the car park and the restaurant. Despite ordering and eating immediately the 1/4lbder and fries were not hot. It was busy so no excuse. Service was quick although one of the machines was slow and not giving receipts.
Went through the drive thru. Very quick and easy. The staff are always very polite and helpful. They have a hard job it's always service with a smile. Food: 5/5
Always seem to miss something off the order!! Either a dip or the dressing for the salad, or an entire happy meal that was a one-off. But nah I have to give them 5 stars for friendliness at the little drive through windows, always thankful and always wish us a nice day. Food is always hot and for fast food, so yeah it's alright. Kid-friendliness: Good selection for happy meals although toys are always questionable. They're not toys, they're just marketing material. A weird little round tin with a face on and cardboard legs.. even our little one was confused.
T’was extremely busy to say the least, food orders took ages & there was queues out of the door and only one touchscreen working. Better to use the app.
Absolutely dreadful.. Nothing like the Christmas special burger advertised.. meat was dry and no flavour bacon was nearly raw.. very little salad and sauce was difficult to find.. tasteless dry and would never buy again...
An excellent hotel, the staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. The evening meal was of the highest quality and the room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The only downside was there are no tv's in the bar so I had to retire to the bedroom to watch the football!!
Just as you would expect a McDonald's to be but they do generally get food out a little quicker here I've found.Food: 5/5
It's a McDonalds so not a lot to sat. However! It's a McDonalds with an EV charger 2mins away at the service station so a great place to stop off on the A34. What I will say about this particular visit, was the really helpful and chatty staff, especially when I was clearing up our rubbish and they refused to let me do it and took over. Top drawer service! Food came quickly and everything was hot and cooked well. Not too bad at all as the golden arch goes.
