Maxville Veterinary Clinic

I've been to this clinic twice now to get check ups done for my cat, and both times I've felt well looked after. The receptionist, vet techs, and vet are all very pleasant and have shown my cat who suffers from severe anxiety after being rescued from a neglectful environment patience and compassion. Prices are affordable, and I've never felt pressured to buy goods/services that weren't needed as has happened at other clinics. Thank you for helping Midnight out!

Peanut's appointment with Dr. Lees went great, he listened attentively, was knowledgeable and respectful. The clinic was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming.

World of difference compared to my $1000 visit to Alta Vista last night. Will be dropping that review momentarily. Not only are they practicing with common sense in mind, they're letting you in with your animal to allow them to relax while being in an alien environment whilst sick or injured. Calm and professional, they work with your furred family members healthi n mind first and not the dollar.

The entire team at the clinic is amazing. They are caring and empathetic. Thank you to the staff for always being patient, thoughtful and supportive, especially during our last visit when we said goodbye to our loyal and loving dog. They accommodated us to make sure everyone could be there.

I love this Vet clinic! The receptionist is Super kind. All the staff are positive, and sweet. They answered all the questions I had. Today June 28 2022 I dropped my male cat off for a neuter. They explained everything throughly, and answered all my questions. Super helpful team. The vet I have there is Dr. Robert Lees. He answered all the questions I had as well.

After a few years of dealing with the horrible British woman at reception and the hassle I would get every time if call, Id finally had enough. Extremely disorganized office and is apparent this woman in particular is always stressed and overwhelmed with her duties.Is very rude in her deliverance regardless of what is asked of her. Also recruiting other staff members to my “needs” before I’d even had a chance to speak was incredibly unprofessional and quite obvious at my last appointment. I’d had the absolute worst experience this time and expected a response to a complaint but, heard nothing back from the doctor/owner Dr, Jackie. Feeling horrible for my pup that I’ll be moving on to another vet simply because of some terrible staff members. Definitely not recommending this location if you are looking for competent and stable care for your pets.

I have used Maxville for almost 5 years now and have loved them until dr lees came on staff. I have had 2 very negative experiences with him, including him yelling at my dog today for displaying fear aggression. The first encounter was worse, involving him refusing to put down my 15 year old, severely behavioural cat that I tried everything with. When I complained I felt like the owner heard me but I was also told "to say he's a cat lover is an understatement". I am too, which is why I chose to euthanize a sick cat. The clinic, other vets, front reception staff, techs, assistances, the owner etc... get a 5 star, dr lees a 0. There is empathy because he sounded burnt out, however there is no excuse for yelling at a scared dog. Found another clinic accepting patients. If you chose to use this clinic I suggest using the other male vet.

The team was so great with my foster pup! The vet took time to really evaluate her walk and was so kind and respectful of her limits. The techs tried their best to trim her nails and were awesome and incredibly patient. Got most of them done which was a big success for this girl!

Called to have my old little baby girl; Sophie euthanized this morning and despite not being my vet they very considerately had us in within 3 hours to ensure our baby wasn't suffering anymore. The staff were very patient and kind and they had all the services we needed for cremation as well. Highly recommend. Very caring staff.

They always provide excellent care and service to my dogs. Prices are very fair and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend this vet.
