Max's Classic American Grill

Good food, good service. Amazing prices: filling meal and leftovers for two for 30 bucks! Beautiful concept and decor. Prettiest diner I've seen since NYC. Too bad to hear they might be getting rid of the old school look which doesn't seem to attract anyone around here.

THE FOOD HERE IS HORRIBLE! I went here after my college orientation and I was very very disappointed. I ordered a chicken Marsala and EVERYTHING was bad. The rice was bad and the vegetables were disgusting. Please do yourself a favor and save your money or at least go spend it somewhere else.

I've tried this place a few times before I wanted to rate them. So far they're batting 0 for 3 getting my order right which seems to fall in line with the tables around me. The food is okay but you can expect at least a 45 minute wait from the time you order with a near empty restaurant. The wait only gets longer if they have any type of crowd. They haven't offered to fix any wrong order yet. They'll just ask if I'm okay with what they've brought me and be on their way. The restaurant itself is pleasant with the exception of the cardboard cars and the Sesame Street mysic. My recommendation is to just walk down the street to the commons area for better options.

Great staff. Fabulous stay. Good food, close to everything, fair prices and priceless Clay. Will be coming back...
