If you want good food and service and don't mind paying for it then you will like it.  I had a seafood medley that was really good, wife had lobster lollipops that she also really enjoyed.  Service and atmosphere was excellent.  Wide selection of food and drink.  Parking is a little crazy because it is by the water, basically you park wherever you can find a spot.  They have an employee in a golf cart to give your a ride because you may end up parking 100s of yards from the restaurant.

Call ahead doesn't seem to minimize the wait time as advertised, however it is worth the wait. The best value if you're looking for steak & Seafood. Makers Mark Sirloin is a top notch steak paired with the garlic mashed potatoes it is a fantastic meal. The "naked" prep salmon is phenomenal, the rice bed leaves a bit to be desired as it was a bit overcooked. The iced tea is a treat as well! We will continue to drive the hour to eat at Boatyard!

Excellent experience. Possibly less of a wait if we had called ahead of the but even the short wait was pleasant. Conner was an exceptional waiter and a magnificent salesman for your restaurant. We will be back for sure. Jim and Sharon. We had the surf and turf excellent with an additional 4oz tail way to full.

We travel an hour every time to eat here. The atmosphere is so much fun and you feel like you're in the right place, right where you should be. I've been with friends, family and just a quiet dinner with my husband. I recommend it for every occasion. They don't take reservations, but call ahead. It's worth the wait. Sit outside and watch the boats and all the lake activities!

Ate here on my own and as part of an office Christmas party.  The Christmas party food was excellent.  On my own it was OK to good.  Will try again another time.  Excellent views especially in summer from the patio.
