Being a cancer patient isn't easy. The staff at Mat-Su Valley Cancer Center went out of their way to put me at ease from the moment I stepped through the doors. Each and every member of the team displayed a genuine concern for my well-being and strove to soften the path. Their quickness to share a story or a laugh while providing the most competent of care makes them exemplary in their skills in being both personable and professional. Throughout my therapies, they never left me to feel lost in a foreign world but rather sought ways to conform their high tech environment to fit and comfort me. Every process was explained, every issue or concern addressed. I will be forever grateful for their knowledge, skill, and compassion. They are my heroes.
