MATSU-TACTICAL is the best gun store in alaska hands down, the attention to detail and customer service goes above and beyond, if your need of gun repair, firearms sales, training, or just a question on anything gun related these guys know what there talking about and will be more than happy to help you out.

I've been in Mat Su Tactical several times over the last several months and have had nothing but good things to say about the store. Although they are somewhat specialized in the industry, I've found that they are an excellent resource on most things gun related, if they don't have it they'll tell you who does. They will recommend businesses they trust but I have never been told who to "stay away from". They show utmost respect for other businesses. I recently attended one of their shooting classes as well. Ive been to just two other formal weapons training events and training with MST was by far the most thorough, professional, and informative of the three. (and also a lot of fun) Very safety oriented in the training setting as well. Just one other thing to say about the business itself and my purchases. The staff was of the kind that does not blow sunshine up your backside to sell you something. Just the opposite, they tell it like it is and that's like a breath of fresh air these days.

I had a rail and gas block switched out on my AR. I took it in on a Friday and got a call the very next day telling me that it was done. Doc was very nice and awesome to work with. Steve was nice and pleasant. I returned on Saturday to get my rifle and they were teaching a class and I stuck around for a minute to listen to what was being taught, the information given was awesome. The problem I had was with a girl sitting behind the counter. Tried to make a conversation with her and she was snobby and rude. I asked Steve who she was and he said the owners girlfriend. I really did like the shop and was really impressed with the work and the workers. I watched both of the workers ask her to move out of their way and she sat there acting like she was above them. I really did want to attend the training and to buy the Aimpoint comp M4 from them, but I will not be going back, because of the rudeness of the owners girlfriend.

Very knowledgeable gave me facts not opions and didn't try to push anything on me. Gave me options for future improvements, overall great experience definitely would go back.
