Masjid Al-Noor

I was at the mosque for zuhr salaat, and just after as I was leaving, I noticed two kids playing at the very end near the chairs. I assumed the parent must be still praying, and suddenly an elderly gentleman very rudely scolded the two kids saying that they were not supposed to play inside and for them to go down stairs. I was in just shock to see and hear this person behaved towards the two children who barely seemed to be 4 - 5 years old. I can understand how extremely difficult it can be as parents to pray while with your kids at the mosque. As I was going downstairs, I noticed this person going into the office and sit at his desk. I just request that people at our mosques are more tolerant to our children and show them kindness and patience.

The Masjid is well attended which makes it even more enjoyable to pray.

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you. This Masjid is house of Allah swt and a great place to worship One and only Allah swt.

This masjid have grown over the years from being pretty small to its current state. Lots of parking inside the masjid and several extention in the basement and entrance. Very conviniently located on 98A Ave just a few steps from King George skytrain station. The property is very well maintained.

Great experience hufaaz are good dinner and iftaar is dalicious
