Today I visited this Mosque for prayer and encountered some challenges. Upon arrival, I found a couple of parking spots near the entrance. Unfortunately, I accidentally backed up into a spot designated for disabled individuals a guy who honked and let me know that, and he parked in what appeared to be a reserved space for the Imam. When I realized my mistake and attempted to move, the individual reacted very aggressively, shouting and displaying a rude attitude.nnI managed to park in another slot and calmly addressed the situation, but it left me wondering about the mosque’s administration. If the individual was indeed the Imam — coz he parked in the reserved slot for Imam — I’m curious how such behavior aligns with the values of the mosque, an Imam is expected to demonstrate patience, good character, calm guidance, and respectful conduct as a leader of the community.nnI hope the administration takes note of this and works towards ensuring a more welcoming and respectful environment for all.
Masha Allah very big Masjid/Markaz.nLots of praying space. Lots of parking. All utilities are available. Well managed.nThe yearly Ijtema takes place in this Markaz.
A good masjid but very heavily influenced by Tableeghi/Deobandi practices. No proper sisters praying area or washrooms is available. It's a very male dominant and focused masajid. Brothers don't treat sisters who stop to pray if travelling very nicely. As a male who has a mother, wife, and sister it's very unfortunate that there are Muslim's who think like this.nnIslam is a religion that teaches us to respect both our brothers and sisters. It's just unfortunate that a large Centre like this can't give sisters enough respect to have a decent praying place the place sisters do have is a small closet space in the masjid.nnI would recommend Abu Bakr masjid which is 10 minutes away, if you do have sisters who would like to offer their fardh salah.nnBrothers if you are reading this review, please do better for the sake of providing Hidaya to non-muslims who are trying to learn about Islam. The image of Islam looks down upon women is something that our religion never preaches.
i want peace. Friday moulana should be little more slow from fatah to next soura. Many way it can be better. Never be a part, we're 1 UMMAH.
Assalamualaikum, mashallah its a huge and spacious markaz n masjid. Need to be renovated . May allah make it easy and may allah arrange the funds ASAP. Ameen.
