Marv Herzog Hotel

Everything about the hotel is wonderful. Spacious & clean rooms. Really nice free breakfast. Free drink each evening. Free WiFi. Friendly staff. Beautiful views... And it is even within walking distance of all main Street.

Nice and clean, but don't expect anything extra. Breakfast is normal for a hotel. No newspaper. Shampoo is on the wall in push-button containers, so take your glasses into the shower to read the containers. Free glass of wine is only between 5 and 7 pm, so don't be late....(keep in mind that stores close at 7, so you'll probably be out at dinner or finishing shopping between 5 and 7 - plan accordingly.) They also might turn off your key, so you get locked out in the garage....happened to us.....We don't plan to return.

You get beer when you check in. There is a balcony. You always gotta have a balcony. Close to all the foods. If you drive a giant truck you will have a hard time parking but that is all. 🤓 Excellent

Amazing find. The hotel features is a tribute to the Marv Herzog, polka player extraordinaire, with displays of memorabilia in the lobby and the guest rooms. Situated in the center of old Frankenmuth, the hotel features an evening reception with beer and wine and local summer sausage and cheese. We enjoyed our drinks on the veranda beside the river. Breakfast was also well done. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. We'll stay again if we return to Michigan.

By far our favorite hotel in Frankenmuth. Spacious rooms with balconies and jacuzzis available. Nice evening appetizers and breakfast each morning. There is underground parking with a secure elevator. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping.
