Martin's Paw Mart

This place is so obscenely expensive it is actually embarrassing. People shop here for one of two reasons. First they are unaware of how expensive it is, or second because it is closer than the big box stores which are a few miles away. If you need something that is $2 elsewhere, and they're willing to pay $4.99 for it here, then at least you save a few minutes of drive time. When this place first opened they sold a wide variety of tropical fish. Within a short amount of time everyone figured out that the absurd price for these fish was not worth it. Now they only carry feeder goldfish and minnows that are in utterly nasty tanks. I had to stop in quickly to get some stepsis powder because I had nicked my dog's vein when cutting his nails. I paid double what I would elsewhere, but had to stop quickly in order to stop my poor little dogs toenail from bleeding. I have no idea how this place stays in business other than that it is in an upscale neighborhood where perhaps people are fooled into paying the exorbitant prices. Avoid it like the plague, go to Petco or PetSmart that are not that far away.

I moved and still drive all the way to this location for nail clipping and grooming. Polite staff, excellent job, excellent prices.

They have a very good selection of dog foods. There are some higher quality brands they do not carry, however they have the midrange and up as far as quality goes. Their pricing is good.
