Mars Cheese Castle

Visit on our yearly Wisconsin trip.. We get cheese requests from friends we fill there. Liked it more before they remodeled and went more touristy but the samples and wide variety make up for it. The restaurant is excellent!! Great meals to showcase Wisconsin heritage and of course cheese.

Great place to bring outsiders, really fun for anyone not from the area, especially on the weekend when there are lots of free samples. However, the actual products they sell are definitely marked up for tourists, especially the non-food items like T-shirts. Recommend looking online before buying something as you can often get it for less cost online. The cheeses though are definitely worthwhile for the cost of they're more unique. The restaurant is novel but the food isn't anything special for the high price.

This place has grown a lot over the last 7 years. Built a new building that actually looks like a castle, and have expanded on that too. Any and all kinds of cheese you could want, spreads, blocks, shredded, sticks. You name it, they have it. They have large selections on meats and spices too, and a massive beer selection with a lot of local/state made products. The deli and bakery inside are good and reasonably priced. They have a bar inside too, but I haven't checked it out other than walk g through on my visits yet. If your passing through and have time, it's a cool place to check out for sure!

Very pleasant place to shop. Truckers and travelers, stop in, they have parking, restrooms, and a nice little deli too! They have everything from shark jerky to sugar free rolls. We stopped for the Kringle and to pick up some goodies for our kids. There was a young man named Thomas that was working the very busy cash register. He kept his cool, was polite, and handled the pressure well. We hope to visit again! Oh and for those of you with furbabies,there is an area by the pond where you can let him or her do their business!

This place is Great !!! You can find just about any type of cheese that you can imagine here, they also have wines summer sausages and other meats. They have a lot of different craft beer, hot sauces and many other unique condiments. You can pretty much find anything you are looking for that has to do with cheese & wine.. There is also a deli, bakery and a tavern inside. The employees are friendly and nice here as well. I'll be stopping in again on my next visit up North ☺
