Festival is a solid grocery store with genuinely friendly customer service. Everyone I interacted with from the deli to the meat department to the checkout was welcoming, upbeat, and helpful, which really stood out. Prices varied, but there were definitely some good deals throughout the store. Overall, a pleasant shopping experience with a positive atmosphere, and I would absolutely shop here again.
Went to Festival today around 3. Went to check out and bag line. The girl running cash register and the bagger were having a conversation. Although my items were being scanned, the conversation continued... I was not greeted. I blundered when processing my card and somehow entered cash back. I asked for assistance and the cashier stopped socializing with bagger. The socializing took a very short break and then countied adding in a 3rd employee. I tried to ask the cashier if she was sure the first transaction didn't process. She didn't hear me because I couldn't compete with the laughing and talking between the 3 of them. I finally said in a louder voice, 'people' They all looked at me. I asked my question and then started walking away and the bagger said I'm so glad I could assist you today. I'm paraphrasing. It wasn't genuine. It was sarcastic. Then the 3rd gal walked away saying 'we are allowed to have fun sometimes'. Bottom line, once a customer is in front of a cashier, the cashier and bagger should do their jobs and maybe say hello to the customer pay attention to the customer.
Festival in 80th is a great place to go the workers are very nice and work hard no matter there conditions. Like this black haired girl with glasses she hurt her knee and she still was in an excellent mood and I had a very nice conversation with her. Then there was this dude named Winnie and he saw that I was putting away my groceries in a certain way and tieing the bags and he went along with it helping me tie them. my point is that they pay attention to there costumers and are very friendly if I were to send someone to a grocery store I would send them there.
It seemed well-stocked and the people there staff and customers were very friendly. Their produce was mosrtly fresh and the meat counter was very robust. It's always been my favorite grocery for about 10 years' so I think that speaks for something. :
My favorite place to grocery shop at , in and out very fast . No big crowds of people everywhere . The customer service is outstanding . I love all the products they have that you can not find many places .
