Marconi Centre

Went to my sisters wedding yesterday. Absolutely terrible service. We were told that the bread was unlimited yet the waitress cought an attitude just because we asked for more... we originally only got 1 piece of bread per person, I don't believe asking for a second piece was unreasonable by any means. The food was completely inedible despite the high price per plate. The room itself was so hot as their a/c was broken. They didn't even give the guests a proper seating area during the cocktail hour. People were forced to stand outside the party room, with very limited seats for the elderly folk, while we waited for the staff to get dinner ready. For the amount of money this place costs, their service is horrendous

Has my wedding here in August of 2022 and couldn`t be happier with how it turned out! Everyone loved the food, the service provided by Donna and her team was amazing and the planning by Joe was very meticulous and well organized. We had our ceremony in the upstairs VIP room and our party in the ballroom and wouldn`t change a thing! Thank you Marconi Centre for making my vision come to life!

It was my mother's 90th birthday. The staff and the food was fantastic. Thanks to all.

Terrible service. Staff is not nice at all. Food is terrible and VERY small portion. A 10$ breakfast has about 3 times the food. My wife got sick and about 10 others did not feel greatthat i know of. Avoid this place.

This place is not a place to celebrate any of your special events, they’re so arrogant even during your event they screamed at my guests , that Donna screwed my wedding party and Joe he is the mastermind behind the scam, the $500 deposit they make sure you don’t get it back, they been doing it for a while now so my advice is stay away from this place run if you can .

We hosted our wedding at Marconi Centre on September 23rd, 2017. We worked with Mario who was very accommodating and helpful! The food was amazing and the service was good. We had a few hiccups but overall we were very satisfied with our big day! Good venue location for a great price.

We held our wedding at your venue. Our guests all had amazing things to say about the venue, food, and the staff. Mario was so accommodating and helpful in the days leading up to our wedding as well as the day of. The food completely surpassed my expectations even though I was told it would be good before hand by someone else. Our night was perfect thank you to all your staff!

Mario is the man!!!! He worked extremely hard with my husband and I to ensure our day was amazing... And he absolutely delivered.... From the food which was incredible to the service, his team rocked the evening... Highly reccomend, I will be using their services again that's for sure... Thanks again to Mario and Marconi Centre for making our evening what it was.... Absolutely perfect

Very poor customer service. Called the phone number that they provide on their website for sales two times. Whenever I tried to call The guy is so very rude, always rushing you, doesn't want to answer to any of your questions and hang up on you. Not sure why he is even there if he is not passionate enough to do the job. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

Food was okay. But what really gives this place a 5 is that they were prepared for an emergency. A friend got married the day tornados knocked out power all over Ottawa....and they still managed to entertain what appeared to be over 100 guests..and have a backup plan. Kudos and thanks for saving my friend's and her husband's day.
