Been meaning to try this place for a while now. Overall great experience! The cocktails were interesting, the food was delicious and the service staff was on point. • How cute are those pink deviled eggs? A perfect bite of chicken meets the egg. The beef brisket was melting in our mouths and the chicken sandwich was the perfect combination of crunch, sweet and spicy. • We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!
I recently celebrated a birthday with some friends and we all had an amazing time! The menu was well-balanced and had something for everyone. I absolutely loved the Duck confit and my friends loved the brisket. I recommend both The restaurant had a really unique and charming vibe, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the staff were super friendly and attentive!
The duck confit was absolutely amazing! I really enjoyed the bread that came with it. Could have done without the raspberries. I also had the clam chowder, which was above average, I enjoyed the large chucks of leeks. I had two of their drinks which were both well balanced, not too sweet, really good! This place is definitely in my top 3 in Ottawa. It’s really hard to get all dishes excellent to outstanding and the drinks too! And the service atmosphere was super welcoming and top notch. Will be recommending this place to everyone who asks.
Very nice and comfortable space to dine in. Staff are very catering and considerate. Dishes were perfectly sized and beautifully flavored. I actually bumped into this restaurant randomly even without a reservation. But I had a rather soothing and warming dinner there.
We made reservations for dinner for a small group and the atmosphere was lovely! There was lots of space between tables and it was easy to hear conversation between the people at our table. The duck confit was delicious. The skin on the duck was perfectly crispy and the vegetables added a nice balance of sweetness to the saltiness of the duck. The bread pudding was a standout dessert - moist and not-too-sweet. The service was attentive and friendly.
The brisket sandwich is the BEST in Ottawa, do you want to go to FLAVOUR-TOWN???... have the brisket!. I highly recommend having the soup as well, lately it's a seafood chowder, which is delicious, last summer the corn chowder was amazing! The whole team at Parlour is so welcoming to all their guest's, and that extends to the new team members, they instantly get the vibe of hanging with such a great crew! You should also follow along for their adventures & new menu item's on instagram. I think you should all try Parlour...why wait for spring? Order take out or go for a visit with great service!
My friend had her birthday celebration here at Parlour, it was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever had out! The food, drinks, and service were impeccable. Special thank you to Caroline for making the evening so special.
Absolutely awesome restaurant with an upscale chic vibe. The indoor eating is huge. The food was excellent. The service was very friendly. Ottawa needs more places like this. Can't wait to try their outdoor patio this summer.
Good food. Good atmosphere. Tasty drinks. Price is a tad high IMO, however they label their ingredients as local farm to table. Some menu items were available and only told after trying to order them. Biggest issue is outdoor patio is really off angle. So much so that my fork and knife would constantly slide off the table.
Insta worthy new it restaurant. Open concept layout with inventive decoration. Went during a -10 Celsius day, sitting close to the door is a bit cold, sitting inside closer to the kitchen is a bit oily with a bit overwhelming fry smell. May need better ventilation system. Each section has its own style of table and chairs. Overall pleasant experience with the lighting decor and service. I had paradise circus cocktail, artistic presentation with freeze dried pineapple. Cocktail itself is smooth. Also tried Mint to be, more on the sweet side. Devil eggs to start, nice presentation. Seared fish salmon for main, fish itself is well cooked, the sauce on the bottom is on the sour side, a bit too much vinegar to my taste. Even my girlfriend sits across from me can smell the vinegar. The sauce of the fish is very oriental with boi choy and dried mushroom, the dish itself is somewhat creative with top notch presentation, would appreciate more if the sauce has more well balanced. Chocolate trifle for dessert, large portion and perfectly balanced raspberry and chocolate and cream.
