GOSH this was the worst bagel of my life!I’m still wondering what can go wrong when you make a simple avocado & egg bagel? The coffee was okay but that was it, also everything was super overpriced. The only good thing about this place was the spot, super vintage and cozy.
Thoroughly enjoyed the interior decoration and atmosphere at this restuarant. Although the coffee and food was a bit pricey for the quantity served, it was not the best quality. I had the Americano which was not the best and the chicken poutine not the best either. If you are looking to sit down, relax and enjoy quality time with friends or family, this is a nice place to simply hangout or get some studying done. Restaurant owners please improve food quality! Love that this place is halal
Excellent food and ambience. Perfect for a brunch. Staff was super nice and loving specially with our kids.
Horrible food, grossly overpriced. Paid $50 for two dry bagels with a friend egg, tasteless bacon and unripe hard avocado, one side of fries and one water ordered a bottle of San Pellegrino and got a TIN of Perrier! Total waste of money. Avoid this place at all costs.
Interior was beautiful and unique. The food was okay nothing too crazy but definitely very pricey
I was hoping to enjoy a delicious crepe but I was dismissed by the lady rearranging cookies. She ignored me like I was Casper the ghost. Then after waiting 10+ minutes on line, I was being told that at 7:00 pm on a Saturday night there were no cooked foods being produced. The prices also are outrageous. And to top that misery off they charge a service fee. Not sure why I am not getting a tip for waiting in line like a butter head.
The place is beautiful. The service is at the counter. The value is terrible, extremely expensive for what you will get. I ordered a traditional bagel with salmon. It had half a slice of salmon and a thin spread of cream cheese for $16. You can get a better one in a full service restaurant for the same price.
Less than friendly service. Mocha was not chocolatie enough and baklava was stale.
Super cute decor drew us in... ordered at the counter... had to pick up our own food and ask for water twice I'd like my tip back. The poutine was only okay. The tap water was terrible fishy smell. AND we couldn't use the washroom as they were "closed" for Covid cleaning. We will not return to this location.
The decor is very kitschy but great fun. It’s great to see all these antiques. I wish the food was as good as the decor. We love St Viateur bagels which are served here. HOWEVER the food had no taste! We both wondered if we had COVID as both our orders both had absolutely no taste. The coffee as well is mediocre. The bathroom was closed for COVID cleaning. Plastic utensils are a downer. The only reason we would go back is for the decor which is amazing. Come on guys you can do better with your food!! We love the ambiance.
