Awesome place. I felt like I was in a café back in Lisboa. We had the coffee and natas which are baked there and excellent but there are lots of other desserts. You can also have sandwiches with Portuguese ham and cheese. Staff is warm and friendly. Located in the heart of Old Montreal. Go!
I went to Portugal this summer and while walking in the old port saw the window: pasteis de nata. I had to go. It's much bigger than you realize inside. A very nice, more upscale looking cafe with all sorts of Portuguese snacks and drinks I think even the water was the Portuguese brand as well as other souvenirs. There was a lot of options without being cluttered.I ordered one pasteis de nata, said obrigada and made my merry way. It wasn't super flaky but it wasn't toasted either had it to go but it was oh so buttery and delicious! I've been to a few of the big pastry shops in Portugal like belem so the bar is high for me now, I very much liked this one. I can't comment on the rest of the food but it looked good.
Many people wait for a place in the restaurant that is on the corner. This place is amazing and better! Juices are fresh, good coffee and brunch is amazing. I fully recommend it. I had some omelette and coffee. Highly recommended.
A tourist spot that has a café, various trinkets and books for purchase, and a small selection of food items to buy. The food was good although after ordering it was slow to arrive, despite the fact that no one else was here. Also, I find it highly amusing to be in a Portuguese Cafe, served in French, and listening to music in Spanish. Quite a cultural experience.
Loved it! We forgot to take a pic before devouring it haha. Croissant melted in your mouth! Helena, not the owner Helena but the other Helena was so so nice and informative. She even gave us cards for the other restaurants associated with the owner! One has a panoramic view apparently. My mom and I were pleasantly surprised and wish we had ordered more. I will be back!
Excellent food, choices and service. This restaurent have amazing environment.
They have good natas, tho the prize is bit higher than other portugais bakeries.
Large portions. Very tasty food.
As a Brazilian, I feel at home. Great food, great coffee and great service! Totally recommended!
A slightly over-priced but warm, inviting, and less busy alternative to the 'Olive n So-n-so' place across the street. Staff was friendly, food was yummy, coffee was well-balanced, and pastries were scrumptious. A good pick for a quick brunch on a Sunday.
