Great gym, the workout area is stunning and there's rarely any waits for the machine. On top of that the classes are really great and the yoga room in itself is enough to make you try it. The only thing I would say is that the first "trainer/intro meeting" is a useless sales pitch to get a personal trainer or a nutritionist and was honestly a pretty below average way to start your Mansfield experience... that being said, everything else is pretty great!
Nothing wrong to say about the place! Amazing equipment, locker room is great and packed with amenities, like sauna dry and steam, shaving cream, hair product and more. The staff is of great support. They offer to help by putting your contracts on hold if ever your out of town for a while. Love the gym!
nice gym but what a rip off. also considering how expensive it is, the hours especially on weekends and class availability are pretty garbage. personal training is expensive and many of their trainers are quite average and overrated. don't use the $100 monthly price tag as an incentive to go - i guarantee that will fade in less than 6 months. avoid unless money ain't a thing and you don't care about wasting it.
Tried the gym out for the first time tonight on a free trial and I wasn't feeling it at all. They have a nice locker room, cafeteria and reception area but other then that it's not so great. In my opinion there's just not enough options in the machines and the setup is horrible. If you like crossfit and going to classes then I guess this would be a good gym but as a weight lifter, I felt out of place.
Great gym, and amazing equipment and overall experience. There is a sauna, showers, towel service, steam room, they even provide a hair drier, creams, oils, Qtips etc... Truly a place to be healthy and relax. 4 stars is because the sales process and sign up process was a bit aggressive for me and my friends who I introduce to the gym.
Just signed up here and let me tell you that we were very well welcomed. Tania, the one who gave us the tour, was very nice and helpful The gym itself is great! It has a very nice yoga room, a great group class area, a CrossFit room, a great number of cardio machines and a pretty good workout section They even have a fake grass zone The locker rooms are on point! There is a Eucalyptus and a Dry sauna. Once your workout is done, you really feel like you’re at the spa! Bonus: towels all sizes are provided Yes, it is not a cheap gym, but you get your money’s worth! As long as you come often enough :P
Like some have stated in their reviews, new owner or administration is not good. They have cut off on the service over the years. You used to be able to buy a shake after workout in the evening now their snack bar closes early. That is just one example. Machines are ok, but many good group class teachers have left over the years. I was a member for 7 years, i just left a few weeks ago. Too expensive now for what it is worth.
State of the art well established gym in the Montreal area for many decades. Highly dedicated staff. The best is yet to come. Spacious and cozy atmosphere huge locker rooms, high ceilings. Outstanding restaurant, with a menu that stands appart from the eveyday basics, which means Pizza, Burgers etc, great siting not to mention, when you treat customers right they come back and tell others. keep up your good work !!
This place is either the best example of how to launder money or the worst example of how to run a business. Here is the executive summary: The Good: The equipment at least until recently The equipments are top of the line brand names, at least until recently, when they started to remove them for trendy apparatus that no one uses, but would make the manager the highest amount of commission. The bad: Well where to start? the Locker rooms are filthy and a contagious disease waiting to happen, this is more evident specially during the weekends. And this is not due to lack of staff. In this place even the assistants have assistants. But no one seems to work in this place no matter which department. Whether its custodial, cleaning or accounting. Most likely because this place changes more manager than banana republics change presidents and none of them seem to have any business or managerial training. There are seldom a trainer on duty during the weekends as it should be. Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC NUMBER! they would charge you for anything and everything that they think of. Of course they would reverse the charges when you confront them but at the cost of your precious time and sanity. The trainers are there for one reason and one reason only to push expensive training sessions on clients. It's a shame because the gym used to be very good one, but it has gone down year after year. I used to be a member for 5 years but could not take it anymore. Do yourself a favor and check out other gyms in the area they are all better whether its quality wise or price wise!
This Gym is not what it seems. They do not attend to your needs. I had a 6 mth old at the time and I wanted to go to a place that would take care of my child - the place was under reno so the kids were put in a 10x12 room no window, only to find out after the fact that's it been like this for years now I was every intersted in attending classes that would most fit my schedule, I found it every inconsistent when an instuctor was unable to teach the class they would have anyone step in to teach it. So I decided to see what a personal trainer could offer me. When I made my appoint to meet with the director to get a full profile done. The morning of the meeting she had someonelse appointed to the appointment front desk- part time girl I felt very push aside but still went through with the meeting. The next day I e-mail the personal training director to confirm financial details and set up would be. -I never got a response. After the secound follow up, I called to speak to her and left her a voice mail,- I never got a response... A couple mths later, for personal reasons I cannot discuss I could not attend the gym anymore. I ask to cancel my menbership they said they couldn't, I asked to put my menbership on hold they said- max 4 mths at $25/per mth, which they never did...I brought this to the person higher than admin. They said they would take care of it. However I still rec'd the bill every mth... it was an battle everytime. I stopped paying it and even after all that they sent a credit company to collect their money-$ 400. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
