Last weekend, we had brunch plans with some pals in Brampton, Canada, at MANDARIN. It's a sizable eatery with lots of decorations and genuine seafood. The people at the entrance greeted you. On first glance, it appeared to be a pleasant setting with a smorgasbord concept and a variety of food options. I begin with a salad, which was generally excellent. The main course was the second option, and this is where the issues begin. First, I replaced three dishes to get a clean one free of trash and leftover food. Second, I observed the server stacking numerous plates on top of one another so that the bottom of the glass directly touched the food. Third, a portion of poultry was dropped by a patron onto the bar's table, prompting the waitress to remove it and re-add it to the meal. This was an issue that might eventually be resolved, but I doubt it will do so in Canada. Fourth, and this is where the action begins, I saw all the employees at the kitchen handling the food without gloves and cleaning up the mess by wiping their hands on their garments. I paused to add more food and made an effort to block out what I saw so that I could finish eating lunch with my companions. I return to my seat at the table to begin eating the food I added to my plate, but this time there was a major issue that caused me, my companions, and the people at the table next to me to cease eating altogether. I found a green wear, caterpillar, or maggot stuck to the broccoli. I bring up this problem with the supervisor, who responds that it will always happen and that she has observed numerous instances of it. She then advises that we need the manager to speak with him, and the manager then arrives, apologizes, and takes the dish. They offered me failing to pay my fees as a means of making amends. This answer might be sufficient in a standard sense, but I don't think it is because the manager needs to first return and apologize once more before notifying the server. The entire group then ceased eating. Additionally, a 9-month-old infant who is unable to consume a variety of foods is eating only from this dish of broccoli at our dinner table. So, if the beans were properly cleaned, I'm not sure how this green wear, caterpillar, or maggot was still stuck to the broccoli. Where is the cleanliness, where is the food safety, and where is this place's sanitation. When asked if they could live after contracting any germs or food poisoning, the majority of customers were a family with numerous infants, young children, and elderly members.

Great restaurant to celebrate special occasions and also for everyday lunches as well. My girls loved this restaurant and enjoyed the hot towels to clean our hands. The fresh refills of good and the friendly staffs.

The servers are very polite and friendly; food quality is great, freshly made and tasty; the restaurant is super clean and I like that the testy strictly follows social distancing. Bonus point: they give every customer a red pocket with a ‘good wish’ Chinese coin, the Chinese culture is seen everywhere at the restaurant.

Michael, Chris and Calvin were the best servers! Their service was phenomenal. Our glasses were always full and the food was absolutely delicious as always. Plus the Panda decorations were adorable! Thanks for a great lunch Mandarin Brampton West Team! :

I have been to 6 Mandarin restaurants so far, and the service at this location is the best I have ever experienced. My hostess Nikki was very attentative, as soon as we returned from the buffet she would remove our disposal gloves, our glasses were never empty and she made us feel as if we were the only guests at the restaurant. The food was of high quality, but the service was outstanding

I give this place a 4.9. It needs better butter tarts ; and the chicken balls tasted a bit like shrimp which I don’t like, haha , but other than that it was excellent! They also offer hand sanitizer and gloves so you don’t have to touch the communal tongs. The staff was lovely And the food was great. Thanks Mandarin ! We shall be back!  Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and cute cups for kids to take home.  Parking: Lots of parking  Wheelchair accessibility: They have a turn style door but also a regular door with a wheelchair button . The restaurant is single leveled. The buffet aisles seem spacious enough for a wheelchair ,but I don’t have a wheelchair so I’m not sure. I’m just not sure if someone in a wheelchair could reach the food alone , nor read sign above the food item explaining what it is.

Great Experience! My dad offered to take out our whole family last minute for my son's birthday weekend. We were so happy that the staff were able to sing to him to make him feel special! Service at our table was provided by Calvin. He was excellent, so courteous and friendly! Made our experience even better by offering my son's dinner as a gift! This was just above and beyond and added that cherry on top! Thanks so much to Calvin! Its rare we get this kind of above and beyond service!

We had a GREAT time here last Saturday with our family group. Service was fantastic thanks to our server, Nikki and the rest of the staff. Food was great. Desserts were amazing! Will definitely come back! Great place!

What an amazing experience here to be honest I’ve never experienced such attentive staff like this before. Our waiter was Chris, he  was extremely attentive our entire dinner. We haven’t been here in 3-4 years and I’m thinking of celebrating my son’s birthday here I hope the experience will be the same as this one… Highly recommend great staff and service Thank you for an amazing experience
