First time eating here in years and it was incredibly disappointing. For 15 dollars the portion size was laughably small. Like I really should have just walked away when I saw the size. For 15 dollars I got 5 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of pork. Food was also cold and clearly had been sitting there for a while. The photo is after I ate a single piece of pork and realized there was only two other pieces.
Unreal pictures posted by the business! I got rice with three items for $15. Very smal portion. One of my items was chicken balls. The worker put 4 pieces in my plate, and then she removed one! A choice of chicken is only 3 pieces. The food was cold and didn't taste good. And one napkin. Dietary restrictions: Don't buy anything from here if you have dietary restrictions. Everything is mixed with low quality food.
The portions are really small. food tasteless and cold. They gave me the shrimp counted, only 3 pieces!! The girl also saw us ugly when asking for the soft drink without ice. I do not recommend eating here at allFood: 1/5
Typical mall food court Chinese food. Small selection with mixed quality. Some options were good but others were lacking or looked less fresh. Price is okay for mall food but don't expect the good value typically found from Chinese restaurants such as generous portions. The lo mein for example, was pretty much noodles and cabbage. The fried rice looked like just fried rice with no egg, meat, or veggies. The beef and broccoli seemed to be mostly broccoli was was overall okay. The honey garlic chicken was excellent. Simple menu and ordering options does make it easy to order.
Typical Chinese food. Mostly my go to when I'm at the mall. Portions could be better but it is what it is with the price of everything nowadaysFood: 4/5
Love the chicken & mushrooms. Just don’t always enjoy getting such small portions. Not much rice or choice of meat. It depends on who puts it in the container if it’s a decent amount for spending $20 everytime or not.
Really quick lunch time service at the Halifax shopping centre food court. Visit time was around 12:30, very busy but each customer was waited on and served in under 2-3 minutes. Friendly staff. There is a managers special going on right now - 11$ for any chicken dish + vegetables + noodles or rice. Photo: lo mein, honey garlic chicken balls, vegetables. Good amount of food especially for the price. Honey garlic chicken was really good!
I had the noodles and honey garlic chicken combo. The chicken was quite nice, the noodles were okay. My favorite thing about Manchu wok is the prices and portion sizes. I find you get a lot of food for the combo and its very very filling. The staff is very nice as well
I was really craving mall Chinese food and I regret it so much. They had barely any options and I got the last serving of whatever chicken they had. It looked and tasted like it had been out for hours. Also, the noodles were weirdly really crunchy. 8 hours later I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. I don’t know if I can ever eat Chinese food again. I’m scarred for life. Good luck if you eat here.
The food quality is poor, smaller portions, and more expensive. It used to be amazing and irresistible.. not anymore.. last time to buy anything from them
