Fung Wah Restaurant

I ordered Pork Belly with Preservative R9 and Jelly Fish with Sliced Beef R23. The R9 or “Kao Lok” in chinese dish name was so good. You can taste the star anise and black sweet soy sauce. It a must to eat with rice. However the portion was too small for my family of 3 peoples. We will order more next time. For the R23, it was slightly sour from their sauce. Not hot&spicy for me. The sliced beef was a bit dry but the jelly fish was flavorful from sesame sauce and crispy. However, i don’t like this dish as much as the Kao Lok.

I shouldn't even give this place one star. My order was the most mundane and flavourless meal I've ever paid for. Took one bite and didn't eat anything else. My roommate's order looked nothing like what it typically does at other restaurants. It appeared as if the cooks opened a bag of bean sprouts and tossed it into a take out container. I would never recommend this place to anyone else.

The absolute worst hot and sour soup I have ever had. Tasted nothing like hot and sour soup at all. Frozen carrot & peas mix was used. Unbelievably horrible.

First time visit. Fantastic! Simple meal, half duck, 'wok hay' noodle dish, and a plate of greens. The chef is a natural.Food: 5/5

Ordered take out at the restaurant. Ordered the BBQ Pork and Blackbean Beef with a side of hot and sour soup. The BBQ pork was pretty good, a good balance of pork and broccoli. Portion was large! The Blackbean beef was good as well the beef was very tender and had a good flavor with it although it could have had more black bean in it. The dish was also well balanced with broccoli and bok choy, cabbage and mushrooms. The hot and sour was great, lots of BBQ pork and tofu in there! Take out service was good they gave us a heads up that the order would take. A a bit of time due to business and the estimate was spot on. Price is very good. Overall highly recommend if your in the mood for Asian food, lots of it, at a fair price!

We had take out and the reception was very friendly. The egg rolls were pasty, which is why I rated this place a 4. The rest of the food was good

We ordered to be picked up . Fast and friendly phone service . Order ready when picked up . We live in the neighborhood the restaurant is in . Been ordering from Fung Wah for a long time . I understand the cost of living COL has risen exponentially within the last couple years and prices rise as the cost of running a restaurant rises with the COL . Prices have risen at Fung Wah's ,which was expected , but quality of food and care of preparing the food along with serving sizes have also suffered the because of the COL .

Quaint little place. 'Twas the middle of the afternoon, so the place was empty. The service was quick and the portions are generous. The food is really good too. Recommend
