I love my Broadview Legislature apartment! Quiet and comfortable. Management and staff are super friendly and acted quickly when I needed. The neighbors are great, not loud and very friendly. One of my friends recommended me this place and Mainstreet and I'm glad I listened to her.

I still haven't gotten a refund on security deposit for two months after I moved out. They don't answer when I call. They finally got on the phone and told me to contact the Calgary main office that it was not their responsibility. I was dumbfounded, so I called Calgary and didn't answer. I left countless voice messages and said that someone called me and would take care of it, but I still haven't received any contact. I didn't get any action at the moment I wrote this review. What a terrible service. This review will continue to be updated.

Constantly finding drug addictics in the stairwell, or breaking into closets or laundry room. Mail boxes are ritually broken into every month. Management is usually useless. Secretary stops at 5:30 am, so when you find them in the morning, well nothing going to happen. Unless you call the cops, but unless there stabbing someone at the time. Lived in two of their properties. Had to move out of the first one due to a burst water pipe in my bedroom, where they expected me to remain in the unit for an extra three weeks, while they found me another unit. I had to fight with them to get any kind of discount on my rent. Was sleeping in my dining room, and they wanted me to pay the full amount!! Then, finally moved into one of their other buildings, and within five weeks, I had to move out due to a massive roach infestation! Definitely do NOT recommend.

Oh man they don't take care of their building and it's tenants st all. My mailbox got broken into I don't know how many times, my Xmas gift cards got stolen. Trying to get repairs done was such a hassle,! You basically have to stalk them to talk to someone and this is supposed to be a professional business. They get you in and then treat you like dog food. I will never rent from Mainstreet again!!

I applied for an apartment with this company. After giving them the security deposit. They then asked me for two months of rent on top of the security deposit I already paid. To me, this is very unprofessional just because it's like a hidden expanse kind of like a fine print. That's not stated at the beginning when you're viewing your apartment and whatnot would not recommend this company.

I am writing this email to express my appreciation regarding Olga's service provided to the Ukrainian newcomer Oleg Fedoriv. Her professional support let us go through all formalities quickly and smoothly. We value all options offered by Olga chasing the best interest of customer in need. If i could give negative stars I would. I never moved in or even submitted an application, I paid the deposit and eventually changed my mind, however its been several weeks almost 2 months and I have not yet received a refund. I have called countless of times too and left messages but no response I am always left on READ. I am usually a patient person but my patience is running thin. I called the office in Edmonton where they lady was very rude always interrupting me and the office in Calgary never answered the phone.

I would give 0 starts if possible. You forfeit your "security deposit" the moment you sign your application form, even before you are presented with a lease. And they wont hold your prospective unit until you do. The clause that enables this is hidden under "accuracy" of all things. Scummy, shady, and unethical business practices. That aside the unit was run down, bug bombed a month ago but they left the notice on the door, seemed to leak heat, and the appliances were old and probably inefficient which will factor into the utility costs. Run away and rent from this companies direct competitors.

They charge $12.00 to send an E-transfer and they give you no options for payment. You have to pay $199.00 plus $12.00 before they will process your application. I changed my mind over the weekend before anything could be processed and they won't give me my money back. They take advantage to low income people and new Canadians. These guys are crooks.
