Story

Chef Maïko and her team have been proudly serving customers since 1997. We have locations in Montreal’s Mile End district as well as one in the West Island in DDO.

To give soul to a space is no easy task. We have worked at it continually since our opening in 1997. Ambiance, hospitality and the small details – they all matter to us.

But more than design and quality service, it’s the refinement and beauty of the dishes we serve that are our greatest concern.

We appreciate our diverse clientele, which sees people of all ages coming together. We thank them for giving an authentic Montreal feel to our establishment.

Chef Maïko and her team are pleased to be able to count on so many dedicated food lovers for the encouragement to continue refining their vision of an exceptional dining experience.

Best sushi in Montreal, I’ve been coming here since 2006! And the only place I like to eat Japanese!!! The food is always delicious and beautifully presented in such a great ambiance! The staff are wonderful! Always have great time here! With the yummiest of foods! Love this place

This has been a favourite sushi place for me for many years. They have an excellent assortment of rolls with lots of creativity and freshness! Definitely try Paradis, Quebec and L’enfer. For those that don’t love raw fish they have an extended menu of cooked dishes as well. The ambience is great - high end Decor with great lighting, art, decor. Several different dining areas with changing vibes depending on where you sit.
Food was amazing, tasty, hot and beautiful presentations. Service was great, clean restaurant and bathroom! Will go back again
Exceptional dining experience.. We made a reservation in advance, was told that the seating should not exceed two hours, good measure in pandemic to allow proper cleaning in between seating. Noted that the city is under a boiling water warning, as soon as we were seated, we were told to look at the QR code menu. Waiter served bottle with ice in glass. Also, we were given hot towel to disinfect before ordering. Good industrial practice! We ordered the Maiko special for two persons, the menu said it is a daily creation of the chef based on his inspiration. This order came with Miso soup. We also ordered a Kaki Oyster and a teriyaki vegetable. I ran out of words to exactly describe the experience. Food are for happiness, and happiness asked us to go all the way. We ordered a fried ice cream in pancake , and a fried banana with ice cream in whiskey flame. After having such a big meal, with delicious sashimi , sushi, oysters, teriyaki vegetable and deserts, we felt so good in digestion. The best ingredients used contributed the success. This is a dining experience at its best, both food and services. Will definitely come back again. We had a wonderful two hours.
Food was delicious. We ordered a mix of sashimi, sushi, and rolls with the Maiko Garden which was our favourite! The reason for the 4 star is the service. We specified being pressed in time and that we were here for my sister’s 17th birthday. Unfortunately they did not do anything to make it memorable, not even a birthday wish. At the end, we were still late to leave as the order took time to come.
We went there for lunch. Great restaurant. Wonderful service. Yummy lunch menu. It includes soup and salad. Very flavourful. Must experience Japanese food place in west island.
Best sushi restaurant in the West Island. Everything tasted really good. I really enjoyed the Paradis Vegetarian. The service at Maiko was great. We were constantly checked in on, never left waiting long.
You have a sushi craving but no sushi place managed to satisfy it ! Come here ! It is oh so fresh and delicious. A must try :
Very good place for sushi the ambience are great . But little bit noise the music loud. But just ignore it amd enjoy the yummy fresh sushi. Food: 5/5
